I've come to think that these people don't know what they are doing...at all...this guy doesn't even know how to pronounce Varric's name nor does he know the names of the characters he's playing......smh.  "Bald Guy" and "Chick"?

All this beautiful hair and they make him bald. I like the one that is shaved in the back, and the one with the bone head piece.

Those were my favs too! But I'm ok with him being bald as well. -7- but it gives me a lot of ideas on how to draw him with Raina after inquisition.... A lot of head canoning that he grows his hair out when their baby is born. (He and Dorian both have amazing concept art hair hnnnng)

Just finished watching and I was about to defend the guy but....

 

Seriously, do these people play games, at all?! I mean, I know what Bioware is doing. They are trying to introduce the game to people who don't necessarily play these types of games but really. He's talking about not knowing if there is a revive ability or not WHILE ITS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FREAKING SCREEN! I wanted so badly to be able to just push the guy out of the way and grab the controller from him.

 

Also, lol @ Gimli. Yeah, the fact that they're both dwarves is where the similarities end.

I guess I can understand in a way if Bioware wanted people who don't play these games to give it try but it wouldn't have hurt him to look at the Wiki for half an hour before he went to Cali to play this game.... and the commentary? *cringes*

 

And really it would have been nicer to have a Youtuber that knew this game give it try.... but what's done is done.

Yeah. I would have at least done some research on the previous games. "Orgins 2" *facepalm*

 

But, on a good note, I am feeling more and more sure that this will be our starting party. Cassandra drags Varric to Haven to talk to the Divine then the incident happens. Then, Solas comes out of the woodwork (most likely literal) and comes to our rescue since he knows that no one knows the fade like he does.

 

The guy said he was going to release the unnarrated version, soon. Also, his username is WikiGameGuides............Yeah.

Everyone knows you have to protect the squishy mage or they're down in two seconds flat. It's the law of Dragon Age combat and these players are failing miserably!

I'm pretty sure he just recorded playing the game, and then narrated later. 

 

I, for one, am glad he's going through the trouble of releasing an un-narrated version later, so we can hear the banter and battle cries better.

Poor guy, being used as a damage sponge... This has probably been mentioned before, but I love how the characters adress each other in the middle of battle! Like when Varric shouts "On our way, Solas!"

It's stuff like that that really shows how they've gone the extra mile to make the game as immersive as possible. It reminds me of DA2, where a romanced character would scream if Hawke was killed in battle... actually, that was almost a bit too immersive for me. When I romanced Anders I tried my damnedest to keep Hawke alive at all cost because I just couldn't take Anders' anguished screams if Hawke fell in battle 

 

...That actually makes me wonder if they'll do something similar in this game. I hope so (because immersion + drama) but at the same time... agghkh, my poor heart

 

I thought I'd be able to wait six weeks, but... November 21th suddenly feels like it's lightyears away.

I'm personally hoping that we hear some Solas banter in one of these videos! He's been awfully quiet compared to Cass and Varric.

 

Also, I'm just grinning over how much Solas we're getting now. It's a great thing after such a long time without him!
