Dropping in to say Solas might actually be the go-to mage. Hearing him in the no commentary video made me so interested. He also sounds so nerdy, reminds me of when I was talking to my friends about moths lol. Hopefully he'll be one character I can also relate to.

Sadly no. I think it's been asked of PW but he didn't answer. Someone did look at one of his recent pics and said it looked Gray or a blue gray,but we don't know for sure.

They look violet to me, but it's hard to say.

Speaking of his looks... is it just me, or is he getting younger and younger?

For being his age, his voice is deep but like...his grunts and groans are rather high pitched and young sounding?

 

Not that I'm paying extra close attention to his battle grunts. Maker take me. Andraste bless Gareth David Lloyd.

I was thinking that earlier too that his grunts sound younger than his voice usually is. Kinda odd but still enjoyed hearing him and seeing him in the videos.

^Regarding the above... he's so $#%!?@& cute. As in, pinch-your-cheeks precious. I want to wrap him up in a fuzzy blanket and hold him to my bosom.

So, Solas will... definitely be the first mage we pick up, then? Since he's one of the only three in the party selection screen, and it's almost 99.9% certain Cass and Varric will be the first two?

Yep. I would've said that since the Enemy of Thedas trailer I was more sure of Solas being the second almost certain party member rather than Varric.

I think every demo has had a locked party selection. In the real game we'll probably have more options by level 12. But I do think this is our initial party.
