I cringe when these guys keep letting Solas get beaten down by a melee opponent when they have plenty of time to save him before he is KOed. Also, this latest player refuses to use a basic attack, instead running around while his special abilities cool down.

Some of that is a bit painful to watch. Or maybe it means the rest of us are huge nerds who have learned to play more efficiently. Either or.

I agree it's got me cringing every time they went into combat he just either circled them while his abilities cooled or just stood there not knowing what to do. Smh.

Agreed I hate watching videos of other people play. Heck, I hate watching my own videos of myself playing. XD

I'm a little disappointed you need all class types to complete a quest. Or maybe it was just to get access to those rooms with loot and that wasn't critical to the quest.

I don't know maybe that's the way it's supposed to be in some quests in the game. One of the reasons why I'm playing a Rogue first so I don't always have to take a rogue with me to unlock things lol.

Maybe we won't have to do that in each quest hopefully...actually I hope not it would be aggravating to come to a place or secret thing where you need a warrior and you don't have one in the party.....man would that boil somebody's blood right there. :/

I think it's the latter. I can't remember where, but I'm pretty sure a dev already said that you won't be forced to have a mage, rogue and warrior all in your party at once to complete quests. Maybe that was just main quests, though? Not sure.

 

Edit: Also, I'm so amused by how dramatically Solas does everything. I know that it's just the basic animation everyone will have for these things, but seeing him get so into lighting the veil fire or fixing that key or even falling down unconscious with such flair had me laughing so much!

Late though I may be I would also like squee. Something minor but I'm hopeing we get a fun lore explanation about mages being to magically fix bridges. Thinking Solas needs a helmet to protect his head.

I remember when we were the underdogs but now I'd say that Solas is one of, if not the companion that has gotten the most exposure now. It's a pretty great feeling.

Got hit in the head by debris after Cassandra knocked down a wall. Starting to think that being a hermit was better for my health.

The gameplay videos got me thinking on who our first companions will be. Cassandra and Varric seem like nobrainers, but i think for mages we'll come into contact with Solas first. I imagine he'll quickly get to frostback to investigate the breach
