Well may be he stands for the lone wolves of this world; people who just want to be left alone to enjoy it as they wish; the apostates who never intend any harm to anyone but get hunted just the same; people who don't feel the need to "belong" to any particular group but are happy to co-exist with anyone; people who you can't pigeon hole; people who other people view with suspicion just because they don't conform to the expected social grouping; all the underdogs fighting against being confined by the state into which they were born.

Never enough Solas photoshop gifs.

 

I said in the Varric thread that we should photoshop Solas' head over the coconuts from the 'Ive got a lovely bunch of coconuts' song, if you're the one who makes all the gifs....think you could make it happen ?

Well, actually, I wasn't the one who made those gifs (credits to the lovely people of this thread and those who are currently on a DA blackout); I just saved the images cause I knew that I would need them later (for more Solas loving...). But I'm pretty sure someone here could make that wish of yours (coconut Solas head) come true. I want to see it too.

This is what I was thinking last night and I totally agree. I think he does represent the apostates that just want freedom and to live a normal life and don't want to harm anyone unless they get threatened by someone. 

 

 

Also here is some of Solas's spells which I'm sure is available for our Inquisitor and other mages.

I think the first clip was of when the inquisitor was speaking to the Avvar barbarian "Sky Watcher" and Solas responded to the Avvar beliefs he was talking about and then the Avvar got mad at Solas for calling him Ferelden, hehe. But Blackwall and the Avvar do both have wonderful voices.

Soooo I think my first Inquisitor will be a rogue after all... for team balance, since I'll bring Solas everywhere. I wll name her Nampeyo, meaning "snake that does not bite" in Hopi (according to Wikipedia  ). I love the meaning and I love the idea of calling her Peyo   

Too bad I'll be missing the stream today :,( I seriously can not wait for this game. GAH.

I was originally going Dwarf rogue on my first playthrough. But I switched to Dalish warrior since I want to bring Varric, Cole, and Solas. Hopefully I can manage with two rogues.
