I think Cole and Solas are going to have a really neat relationship. Seems like Solas could be the guidance Cole needs to better understand what he is. Rhys was smart, but even he didn't have a grasp of the fade and spirits like Solas does.
Does anyone here have the banter between Solas and Cassandra shown halfway through the Super Sellout Bros vid? The commentators talked over most of it, but I really wanted to hear it. They were chatting about Cassandra turning over the inquisition to a new leader. Is there somewhere else I could see it?
Hmmm no I haven't seen anybody that has recorded that banter, sorry. Plus I think that is the only video I've seen with the banter between Cass and Solas,not sure though.
People keep posting 'Why are the companions so ugly/unattractive' threads, and all I want to do is post the latest pic of Solas while using all caps: "Have you even looked at this guy? He's beautiful!"
Also, congratulations, thread. When Solas was first announced, I was 'meh', and fully expected to only romance Cullen (limiting myself to human only, as I just don't feel right pairing a Dalish elf with anyone but another elf, and hadn't really considered Bull yet...and even then might not until the Vashoth hair issue gets fixed). But, this thread turned me into a fan.
This thread, plus the voice, plus the latest screenshot, turned me into a fangirl, and bumped Solas from my second romance playthrough to my first. So, well done! XD
Oh, and for planned party, my main will definitely be Dalish archer Inquisitor/Solas/Cole/Bull.
I'd like to be better about rotating my party this time around--I'm historically terrible about that in my first playthrough of most BioWare games. Especially in Mass Effect and DA2--Garrus and Anders never left their respective parties.
I'm going to always have at least one of each class, though. I don't like missing stuff (not being able to open chests or doors is a HUGE pet peeve).

I can be like that too I usually have Anders in my party a lot even when I'm playing a healing mage myself but still Solas is going to be in the party all the time but I will switch em out every now and then. Not too long ago I was playing a DA2 playthrough and all of the sudden Anders says " Do you really need me here?" LOL I was shocked he said that I was like "Fine I will leave you out for a mission or 2.

Yep. She mentions that Solas thinks the Fade mark in the Inquisitor's hand can grow stronger.

Cool! I saw a couple screenshots of the advisors, they're all gorgeous! The amount of incredibly beautiful people in this game is astounding

Was there any other cinematic than the war table? Would be nice to see at least one companion conversation in Skyhold.
The exact line Cassandra says is: "You've given us time. And Solas believes a second attempt might succeed, provided the mark has more power. The same level of power used to open the breach in the first place. That is not easy to come by." So they're talking about the Inquisitor closing the Breach.
And fun fact: Solas is definitely in the prologue. Because what happens here is shortly after the prologue and this is where we meet the Advisors for the first time. We meet Solas before the advisors!
Edit: Except for Leliana. Based on how Cassandra introduces her, we've already met her. So Lel will be in the prologue somewhere too.
It definitely sounds like Cassandra arrests the Inquisitor and Solas shows up somehow and is like "Yeah, you're going to need this one if you want that hole in the sky gone." I just wonder how he finds you. It's a little convenient that he just shows up there. I've always liked the theory that he guides the Inquisitor out of the Fade in the beginning and then goes to find them physically afterwards.

That kind of surprised me, actually. I thought we'd be holed up with the advisors first, and THEN Solas would turn up and say, "Um...y'all have it all wrong. Let me dazzle you with my wisdom and beautiful bald head."

ha, no I'm sure he has a reasonable explanation for showing up so soon. Happy to have the character I'm eager for show up right at the start for a change!
