I have the same problem...the trailer is not the best, but is: the only one where the Inquisitor or a companion is not manhandled, andSolas talk. Ehh...is November yet? (damn!

It's going to be a dream-like experience the first time I'm holding DAI's game box in my hands. I've never waited for a game the way I've waited for this one. I was waiting for ME3 for a long time but then I stopped paying attention for months before it came out because there were major leaks of the story and I wasn't all that happy with what I saw.
I can't believe we only have a little over a month. I've been on the forums regularly to watch for DAI news since.....March. Wow, yep. March.
I also can't wait until after we've all finished the game and we can come on here (hopefully happy with what we played) and laugh about everything we thought leading up to the game's release.

Gotta love that new game smell the first time you open a box. It's almost as good as new book smell.
This is the first game in years I've been crazy excited about. The CC, the gameplay, the chance to go about a not-brown Fereldan, my Lavellan's development from self-important, selfish wimp to a mature, tolerant brave woman, it's all really hyping me up. I'm totally with you that it's gonna be like a dream when that amazon box turns up on my doorstep.
I'll also admit that a small part of it is because there's something I want to do but I want to get to know the characters before I go ahead with it (not fanfic or anything like that, I'm not good at fanfic, just something I wanted to do since I started playing about with the stuff I'm preparing for christmas presents).

I'm the same. The smell of "new" is like a drug, there is nothing that prepare oneself to start a new "adventure" like finally opening the box or the pages, still smelling of plastic and glue.

I already pre-ordered the digital copy of the game on Origin, but I checked amazon now and it seems it's cheaper there (-15 € 
). Point is, I feel bad cancelling the preorder and even if amazon says I will have the copy the day the game comes out, I don't want to risk it. I have some days off that week and I wanted to play the game so baaaad. I don't know if I can trust amazon shipment.

Yep I agree. I've never been so excited for a game as I am now for DA Inquisition. I was excited for Dishonored but not like this lol......I'll probably not only smell it but rub it against my face ..*coughs* yyyyeah don't mind me.

Know what I miss about the sixth and fifth generation of games? New game manual smell. Whenever I got a new N64 or PS2 game the first thing I would do is go through that gargantuan manual and slowly peel the plastic wrapping off the cartridge, I was a weird kid. Man, I swear I would never get nostalgic about anything. But here I am, waving my walking stick at the kids on my lawn.

I've gone fully digital, though that's more by necessity than preference. I'm simply out of shelf space for more video games, so digital it is!
I do miss the feeling of cracking open the case and seeing the disc there for the first time, though. Oh well. I can console myself with early-game Solas. My Lavellan is going to follow him around like a puppy.
