Cole hasn't particularly sparked my interest so far, but then I haven't read any DA books. He's very much an unknown quantity but I am looking forward to meeting him.
I'm not sure how well I'll get along with Solas with my first plan quizzy. She's rather... aggressive.

I don't have plans for an aggressive Inquisitor, maybe I should think about one *ponder*...I tend to switch between sarcastic and diplomatic...

That's what I did with my Warden and Hawke (still haven't finished DA2...). I want to switch it around a bit.

The Devs said Cassandra would sometimes surprise us with a snarky or sarcastic remark. She's not humorless. You just have to look really hard.
I wonder what would make Solas laugh? What kind of humor does he enjoy? We shall soon find out.
I actually just recently beaten the Fade part in Origins. My xbox locked up on me halfway through and I had to start all over. It was super frustrating but I've done the Fade twice.

Inquisitor: Oh! So it's supposed to be boring! That way they sleep well and they're rested in the morning, right?
Solas: *sigh* Yes. That is exactly it.
I can totally see Solas disapproving of my inquisitor when she tries to talk about the Fade.
I would at least like one scene where they go to the Fade as like a Date or something
I actually liked the Fade part of Origins. Orzammar and the Deep Roads, though? No. Just go away. Leave me alone. I hate you all. There's a lot of fun and interesting in there, it just takes so much time. But I gleefully embraced changing into mice and ghosts and fire creatures. And haven't we all wanted to see what it was like to be Shale? No? Missed opportunity!
I guess I'll go sit in the "worthy" group.
Nawww Fenris has a dry, almost sardonic sense of humor. I love it. That's why I love to pair him off with Sarcastic!Hawke; their humors match up, and I get to make Fenris laugh. :3
I actually loved the Fade. XD I'm excited for it in this game. Now the Deep Roads...that is a nightmare on earth.
I like the fade too, I never skip it. Although it does get me a bit frustrated.. go here ...nope wrong way...go there? nope wrong way again...ah here it is!
The first time I went into the deep roads it took me hours to go through it. The second time I went through it like a breeze which is surprising,but I don't like the deep roads at all. Anyways I will definitely have Solas with my quizzy when there is a mission to go to the fade. ^^
Agree about the Fade: It can be quite frustrating but I sort of like it. I used the mod "skip the fade" only at my millionth playthrough because I didn't want to spend too much time on it. Or on combat in general. Orzammar and the Deep Roads, on the other hand, are always the part I save for last because they're absolutely terrifying. A torture. And there's no way to avoid it! I feel claustrophobic and utterly depressed after playing it

I would love to see it the way he sees it. But I think your right i thought about it and it was my 4th playthrough i think it was installed. So i only did it three times. I would just get lost in there all the time and would be there for hours. Would drive me crazy lol. I loved the deep roads though! Hearing Hespith talk that first time was so creepy i loved it lol. Gave me goosebumps. loved it!

OMG I know! My fav combo with Fenris is sarcastic Hawke. They go so well together! Fenris puts up with my humor and I love hearing Fenris laugh. He deserves to laugh lol.
I agree about the Fade as well; I also agree about Orzammar. I can't tell you how many times I've stopped playthoroughs cause I couldn't be bother with the Deep Roads. The Fade though, I love the Fade.
Ugh. I played Origins well after release on whim thus had no idea what was in store. Mage Origin? Accidentally annoyed Sweeney and had to get the permission slip for the Rod of Fire and had to get it from Leorah after cleaning up her mess. Went into the cave expecting rat sized spiders BAM NOISY GIANT SPIDERS COMING FROM THE CEILING. And then there was the Deep Roads. The never ending Deep Roads with the spiders that ran away and Hespith's creepy poems and BAM BROODMOTHER. Looking back The Fade does seem tame in comparison in spite of the whole where in the world do I go next thing.
Broodmother was the worst (but Hespith's poem is my absolute favorite part of Origins... maybe i just like horror a little too much)
i finally got comfortable with the Fade on my 3rd play thru, and except for the one section where you don't get a transformation (never seem to be able to find my way smoothly through that part), i can get through it pretty quick. i kind of love the Fade now, and am really looking forward to seeing what happens with it in Inquisition. if we go in, can we take anyone? how will that affect the different companions? questions... (i've been gone for a while, so if this has already been gone over, apologies)
Hespith's poem freaked me out a bit...not my favorite mission the deep roads and it doesn't scare me but boy when I get to that part it adds some horror to the mission...creeeeepy! 
Also I am out of likes now...haven't been on here but less than an hour and already have ran out. :/
I'm neutral on the Fade in Origins. I like it well enough, but not enough to waste a bunch of time. I still play it (I've only had four playthroughts) but I keep the wiki close at hand. Agreed with y'all on the Deep Roads, though. Ugh.

I never take the dwarf companions into the Fade with me (except for Oghren in Awakening since I always recruit Justice first). I just feel really bad doing that to them. In addition to Solas, I'd like to take Cole and Dorian. I think they'd have really interesting conversations on the Fade.

since i never recruit Oghren in Awakening, i have to get Sigrun first, so i always have her when i go get Justice.
i wonder if it will be.. not dangerous... but easier? if we take Solas vs another mage into the Fade. i doubt it will change depending on which one we take, but i wonder at the commentary we'll get if we don't take certain characters. will Cole remember things? will Dorian and Viv have other things to say about the Fade?
Ozrammar is the hardest and takes me the longest amount of time to complete. My first elf character is still stuck on the Broodmother fight and that was a year ago. I had to make a new character to just beat it.
poor Kallian still stuck in the tunnels with Alistair, her LI.

I'm glad I decided that they'd be permanent party members for my first playthrough forever ago.
