My pessimistic mind imagined Solas was laid up with head to toe dragon fire injuries and they didn't want us to see.

 

Considering how much he's been knocked out in the demos at least he'll have our inquisitors to give him some TLC

I'm still 100% on the WoW train (boyfriend and I are main healers for our raid), so Warlords of Draenor.  Unfortunately, that drops the week before DA:I, which means I'll have to cram as much WoW as I can into that week, then play catchup after I extract myself from DA:I.

 

I like watching people stream Alien: Isolation but I'd never be able to play it myself.  Hell, I couldn't even get more than an hour into the first Bioshock.  I am a tremendous pansy.

 

Lol I dropped that addiction long ago for a different addiction. Swtor [Star Wars: The Old Republic] lol. That new expansion is coming out December I think so I still have time. But in the mean time I have been playing my Aggressive Male Hawke through DA2. I love him so much he is really funny for a direct personality lol. Trying to romance merrill for the first time. Its going pretty well but denying Fenris is very hard haha.

 

Maybe we couldn't walk into Solas's room because she didn't want to disturb Solas if he was asleep again on a dreamy escapade of his lol. But yeah I agree with what everyone is saying. Solas and Blackwall seem to have some spoilery things to say which makes sense to me since I bet a lot of their dialogue has to do with the plot.

 

What do you guys think Solas's idea of fun would be? I think Solas's idea of fun would be just falling asleep in some ancient ruins, coozing up to a good book, meditating, or just passively observing the world around him while contemplating life's mysteries. Seems like things Solas would do to unwind from a long day. I bet he would be great at chess and would have a great poker face haha.

I'm playing TOR for the first time now! Its sort of keeping me busy, but then I see Inquisition trailers and I'm like GRABBY HANDS NO HOW DO I LIVE WITHOUT YOI I WANT TO KNOW HOW DO I BREATHE---well, you get the point. XD

In the stream, they said you can turn off the symbols in the middle of the dialogue wheel. Is anyone tempted to do that like I am? In DA 2 I clicked every heart I could from fear of missing my chance to start the romance track, but it would be interesting to talk to Solas with those symbols off and see if I can figure things out. Then I wouldn't worry so much (unless I completely blow it).

Too bad we didn't get to see Solas' room, but at the same time, I'm glad we weren't spoiled like we were with the Cullen chess game. I imagined Solas haunting a library, but it almost seems like he will have very sparse furnishings. Maybe he prefers little to distract him so it's easier to go Fade-hopping?

hmmm...I was first at yes but I am not sure anymore. My problem is, english is not my mother language so I might understand something wrong way and there is no slide of explanation when you put your mouse over the option (it should be but they removed it, gave up, dunno why). In DA:O it was much clearer because there were aswell alot of text in options. Lol I would already fail at romacing Cullen (from new video)...I think I gonna keep symbols on because they said romancing someone is gonna be hard this time (and game is really long) and I have feeling romancing Solas is gonna be tricky, a challenge like puzzle lol. I don't want to miss it  because I am making elf inq as my first playtrough just cos of him. Gonna put example in spoiler cos of people who did not want to spoil themselves watching video;

Where are you from? I think the game will be translated in other languages, if not the voices then the text at least. In my country the DA games are not dubbed but the text is in italian, and I like it this way (I love hearing the original voices). But I get what you mean.

I think I will use the icons in my first playthroughs just to get used to the game mechanics, maybe I'll remove them in the future, but from what we've seen so far I like the design more than the one used in DA2!

I wonder how the others will feel about the Inquisitor in a relationship with Solas. Like, who would be happy for us? What would Cole say? Would Varric write a book?

I think Cassandra might dissaprove for some reason

Vivienne will dissaprove cos Vivienne

Dorian will approve and be probably our best buddy to give us advices maybe

Iron Bull will approve and tease

Blackwall will dissaprove/approve something maybe like Wynne

Sera will just tease

Cole won't understand?

Cullen might dissaprove and be a little bit jealous in beginning then he will go and romance someone of companions

Josephine and Leliana will cheer for us ofc

Varric will cheer, tease and write a book. Because Solas a fade dreamer and inq with glowy hand are very interesting couple it has potential

I think it's a testament to how badly I want Inquisition that buying Ar Nosurge, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Arkham Asylum, and a few discounted PS3 games online hasn't dulled my intense want. Well, they have actually but only when I get real into playing them!

I'm even still kinda shirking class work to look at vids but the second November starts, I'm doing everything in advance so I can splurge on Inq and the other things I'm getting for my birthday( PS4, Second Son, and Unity).

I'm afraid that if I do that then I will completely fail at it.

 

I might do it with a different companion in a different playthrough, but I don't want to risk Solas.

I knew as soon as they said they were only talking about three, Solas was not to going to be one of them. I hope they do more videos because it's getting annoying that they seem to pick a few they like and just smush them into our faces. As much as I like team yolo, haha, I just don't want to start not liking them because they are talked about instead of the people I really want...

I mean we finally know more about Solas, but we still barely know anything about Blackwall, yet both Sera and Bull were already in another companion vid. //sigh
