I'm overwhelmed by all of this stuff. So many videos! So many screenshots! So much Solas! SO much Hype!

 

It's making me sad that I don't have the game already.

 

I should really be studying for my exam on wednesday, but all I want to do is throw myself head first into exciting things!

He's so beautiful, and his eyes are gorgeous   And I'm loving the subtle freckles on his nose!

 

Now, I'm really trying hard to avoid spoilers, and to not spoil myself for the first scenes of the game; I really want it to be completely new and amazing!

BUT, from those new videos, I read that Solas speaks in some of them? If you would be so kind, could someone please (if the dialogue isn't too spoilerish) let me know at what times in the video he speaks? I want to hear him and see him in motion, but I don't want to watch a whole video; I don't want to spoil it!

Omg what Solas says after fighting and defeating some of the Templars. Something along the lines of: "It must have been a long time since these renegade templars faced a mage with any talent."

Also, one of Solas's comments in a video reveals that he is not happy with the mages that are going all trigger happy everywhere. He actually says basically that "mages who use magic so irresponsibly are no better than animals". I swear he gets better and better the more he talks.

 

And then in one video, spoilers in case people want to be totally surprised by even minor sidequest stuff...

The Inquisitor takes on a quest to investigate why wolves in the area are going nuts and they figure out that a demon is controlling the pack. They defeat the demon and Cassandra comments that now the wolves won't be bothering the residents anymore. And then Solas says (paraphrased) "I'm sure the wolves are happy to be free of the demon's hold as well." 

 

I just found that so cute! Solas being all sympathetic with the wildlife.

Lord. A reasonable mage, with a little bit of inner cockiness, and cares for wildlife?

Nah, according to the preview that happens after Solas helps you close that first rift. More likely the apostate is an envoy from the mages at redcliffe.

It could be that Solas also believes you were the one responsible for the blast? At least until your glowy hand starts doing its thing or he figures out what it can do? I admit, I'm rather fond of friendships and romances that get off to a rocky start, and I was planning to RP a girl who doesn't trust people, period, regardless of race or faction or what have you. So curious to see how the beginning plays out. Especially since Solas supposedly approaches the Inquisition to help... Apparently he does so believing we're the problem instead of the solution.
