This is a bit more of a serious banter than I'm used to writing so bear with me.
Solas, Cole and Cass:
Cole: What's it like? To be alive?
Solas: You think you aren't alive?
Cole: I'm not like you... I'm not really alive.
Solas: Iron Bull and I aren't alike and yet we're both very much alive. The definition of being "alive" is to exist, you exist don't you?
Cass: But Cole is dead, the boy at least. Isn't he?
Cole: ...Yes. He died... a long time ago.
Solas: And who's to say part of him doesn't live on in you. You exist. You're trying to help those in need; that's more that many "alive" people can say. You are kinder than you think, chin up Da'mi.
Cass: That's an interesting perspective, you think he and the boy are one and the same?
Solas: I believe so, yes.
Cole: Thank you. I... I never thought about it like that.
Solas: It's my pleasure.
(In the Dragon Age wiki Da'mi means "little blade" I thought it was fitting)
