Hidden agenda?

 

Not /too/ surprised. Sort of. But with his sense of morality...

Whatever Solas's agenda is, i hope is nothing like Anders. Terribly disappointing. It really felt like not only Hawke was even more useless than she was until that moment, but that Anders really didin't care about her (I had romanced him in my first run).

 

I preferred much much more Zevran. He can betray you or fight alongside you if you are friend with him. much better, and more rewarding. DA2 had that horrible feeling like it wantend to punish the player for playng.

"so me and ryebreadies got to meet Gareth David Lloyd (the voice actor of Solas) at a con today, and we asked him if he could describe Solas in his own words. He said Solas was “guarded, very moral, has a dry sense of humor and hidden agendas” 

 

apparently GDL also said we'd enjoy the game and it has lots of plot twists.

 

I am excited and a little scared, haha.

 

Hmm, that's interesting. I don't necessarily mind that he has a hidden agenda. His hidden agenda may be very beneficial in some way. Even if his agenda is nefarious I wouldn't mind, villain Solas would be hot. But I honestly don't think it will be something bad unless it can be influenced by certain choices we make idk.

I really would like him to be an Ancient elf though! Especially with that one concept art of Arlathan, I think that was made for Inquisition right?

I started writing a different ficlet about Solas and backed out 'cause....uh...it was treading on NSFW.

This place always gets busy when I get slammed with work, sheesh...

I tend to have a 'main' party that I bring along for main quest stuff - in my first playthrough it'll most likely be Solas (he'll be in the party permanently since he's my LI), Cass, and Cole, though I might occassionally switch out Cass for Blackwall and Cole for Dorian since I'll be playing a rogue.  For side quests or to go back to an area for some exploration I'll try out different party combos mostly so I don't miss out on banter with my faves For my second playthrough I'll be romancing Cullen, which frees up a companion slot since I can't drag him along, and I'll mix it up a lot more so I can better get to know the companions I didn't use much the first time around.

 

Annnnnd you've just described my first two playthroughs!   I love Cass SOSOSO much.  She's just kind of the perfect female warrior to me, gorgeous and honorable and badass, with a heart underneath the steel. That's cute that people are shipping her and Solas. I'll headcanon that they get together somehow in the run where my Quizzy romances Cullen.

 

I can't believe it's just a little over a week away! And me with my work done so I can concentrate on the important work of losing my freaking mind for the next ten days! I just watched the Trevor Morris vid and got all *high-pitched noises* about it (I am seriously in love with the soundtrack) (also I made that sound when I saw the word "wry" in his description) (also I make that noise a lot lately)...actually not having such a hard time staying away from the gameplay videos, mostly because at this point I just want to play myself. Watching someone else do it is just frustrating.

 

The hair is...yeah, not loving the hair, but realistically, there are only a couple of hairstyles I ever use in DA:O and DA2, so it looks like I'll continue with that tradition. They'll figure out how to do at least a long braid one of these days, I'm sure. Next game! The vallaslin is cool, at least.  I will say that the Qunari hair is the pits, though. I get that they focused on the horns, but ugh. That's gonna be a tough day in the CC.

 

Solas being our secret great-great-whatever sounds like the basis for a Thedosian reality show. Here Comes Quizzy Boo-Boo.
