So they are streaming the first whole hour of Inquisition tomorrow....

I watched AngryJoe's video...but he skipped most of the cutscenes. I'm not sure if I have enough willpower left to not watch it.

I just want to see Solas so bad. lol They can't do this to me. I usually have more willpower than this about spoilers.

Ugh I can't watch it. If Angry Joe hadn't skipped the cut scenes I would have quit watching it. I love the feeling of starting up a game you've never played and it's new and fresh. I want to play it myself, not watch someone else go through it first. 8 days to go. I think I can make it. I have the 18th through the rest of the week off. DAI marathon.

Yeah I'm going between wanting to watch it really bad, and wanting to wait so that it's mostly new to me.

I mean Angry Joe skipped the cutscenes, but he still showed a ton so I don't know. I guess I'll see tomorrow wether I'll watch it or not.

I just can't wait till next Tuesday, it'll be so exciting to finally get to play it myself :3

No way can I feel 'disconnected' during the first hour of a first play through, can't happen. Waited too long, 9 days is a drag but worth it.

That being said I did cave and watch angryjoe's video I hate myself on multiple fronts for that moment of weakness. I find myself for the first time in a Dragon Age torn between playing something other than a Mage on first playtrough. It's an ancient tradition so it will most likely hold up but I'll be damned the second character I make will be an Archer no question. (Because of Joe's video)

I'm with a lot of you. I've come too far and it is going to be a pain waiting to know what will happen, but I think I'll be happy with my decision to keep the first play through as pure as possible. Hopefully, there wont be many tempting guides up yet when I start to play. It's going to be rough though...

I'll be tuning in! Even if AngryJoe skipped the cutscenes, I still got the gist of it. I already won't be going in dark no matter what I do. Besides, I'd seen the beginnings to both DA2 and ME3 before playing myself and it didn't ruin the experience. The beginning is always cool but it's still the part you have to get through so you can get onto the awesome rest of the game! It's also very different when it's the character you made going through and you can pick what they say and how they react so it'll still feel somewhat new.

My Thedas has Natalie Surana, Natalie Hawke, Natalie Lavellan...smh.

 

Just. Smh. I have no creativity whatsoever and I am totally pretending that it makes sense for the three big heroes to have the same name.

Yep,her name will be Arya which means Noble. I know she's not exactly "Noble". I just think that name sounds a bit elvish lol.

Mine is Irayna. In Greek, it means peace. Kinda relevant since the Inquisition's goal is to beat the Elder One and achieve peace for all of Thedas.

And it's going to be quite fun since her name will have a similar sound to Hawke's. Zarina and Katrina

I sadly have no clue what to name mine,I want a name that is pretty and Elvish but is also unique

 

You would think since I love Elves so much I wouldn't have any trouble thinking of a name.

 

One of my warden Elves has the name Arwen...but I don't wanna use that name again.

 

Does anyone have any helpful suggestions?
