If that was the "Why are you so angry?" option, then it seems all three options there would get disapproval, since the other two are pro-Dalish.

 

I don't always mind losing some approval during conversations with companions. Sometimes it results in more interesting dialogue than when you just agree with them all the time. (I found that to be the case for Zevran in Origins, especially)

One stream had a male elf capable of asking Cassandra (and only Cassandra) to dance. Cassandra refused because they were there to... work not play. I would venture that anyone who can be asked will refuse because you have more important things to do.

Really nice but I will need to get used to, my ears are earwashed? with Inon Zur's Love themes. This sounds like mix of Jade Empire and Mass Effect to me .

Yes. I don't like having to agree or go along with a character all the time to get their approval or romance arc. There should be options to disagree but still be respectful of each other, because isn't that how it works with real friendships and lovers? I'm sure there's going to be a lot of common ground anyway. A few disagreements shouldn't ruin everything.

im really worried now that he and Verlaina won't get along as well as I had hoped. She's unapologetically dalish and proud of her people... I feel like they are going to fight a lot about it. QmQ if he is not a fan of the dalish, why can only dalish elves romance him?

I don't think he hates the Dalish, but he disapproves of their rigidity. If you're willing to listen and yet stand firm on your beliefs then I think you'll get more approval than disapproval. Above all, he admires an open mind.

 

If, however, you're a "screw the shems and everyone who isn't Dalish" sort of Dalish then I don't think he's going to like that.

 

He's also really into ancient elves and lost knowledge so you could always bond over that.

It does make me wonder why he is elf-only. If he pities one group and disagrees with the other, what's the good option there? Clearly not celibacy, since he's willing to romance a female elf regardless. And it can't just be an open mind that attracts him, since a human could be just as considerate and caring about elves and dwarves or whatever.

 

Only a few more days and our questions will be answered, speculations put to rest, and truth revealed...

Tuesday is such a busy day for me, I have school in the morning from 8:30 to 10:00 (which I'm thinking that I may not need to go to, I'll have to call my teacher)

 

and then my next class doesn't start till 1:50-4:00 which gives me a couple of hours to kill, and more importantly buy DA:I from Gamestop, But I don't know how long it will take to Pre-load/install the game.. so I can't leave my Xbox on while it's downloading and go to class, because it will shut its self off after so long of inactivity.

 

And then I need to get caught up on my Math work, which I may do on Monday or Wedensday, instead of Tuesday.

 

Luckily, I don't have work through the week.

As a person who played EA Access I would say You shouldn't be wory. Personaly I played as a Dalish and have nice flirts with Solas. So if You will be no extremaly rude to him, and want to learn things You should be OK.

Maybe the "super story reasons" have to do with the gift. The only gifts in inquisition are tied to the romance path, and I think they require a quest to get. Perhaps his gift is an elven artifact that either Lavellan's clan has hidden away or requires you to be an elf to go get.
