My very first playthrough will be a female warrior Lavellan who will romance Sera. I'm also making a male Lavellan based off of my very first Warden, because I miss my ginger whirlwind of daggers and doom.

Guys I'm so excited I get to pick up my game at 11 pm at GameStop tomorrow. I didn't even know this was a thing until I read it in another thread. I called my GameStop to confirm and yay! I'm so excited. Work is gonna drag tomorrow.

 

I'm interested in this, do we just call and see if we can pick up early because of the digital releases at that time?

I don't think I've ever posted here before but can I just say how much I love Solas' voice? Also I like his face expressions. I'm locked for Blackwall as my first playthrough LI but Solas is really interesting, really considering him being my 2nd!

 

@HeyCal: Yes you have to call your local Gamestop to see if you can pick up the game before midnight or if they're holding a special event like that. Tues. is release date for a lot of big games so they might. I called my local store and I can pick it up hopefully Mon. at 9pm!

Solas is interesting...it'll be tough to choose who to pick for my LI when I play through a second time. I planned on Sera....but, hmm, now not so sure, lol.

Did you have any problems uploading the video from your xbox? I've been trying to upload what I dvr-ed and I keep getting an error message, I thought maybe I couldn't because it's a trial but now Idk.

 

I've been broadcasting on twitch and then uploading to youtube from twitch's site. I occasionally have issues getting the twitch broadcast to start, but not entirely sure why. 

 

I think if your dvr clip saved, it probably just having issues connecting to your one drive or something? I haven't done too much with dvr clips tho.

That would be a dumb question to ask lol. I would ask it anyway just to see it. I bet he says something like you are one of them are you not? and continues to explains their history to you lol. It is probably more of a question for ppl who haven't played the game before.

Crap like that will totally break my immersion in a story. I didn't listen to the video, but I hope it won't be that bad through the game. I want my character's race to mean something, you know?

He does point out your Dalishness. I don't remember exactly what I saw on this stream, but I think player elf mentions that they don't know much about city elves? And they can get his opinion on the Dalish. However it when the fact that you're an elf was acknowledged.

Yeah call them and ask if they are letting people pick up the game early tomorrow. I would think up it would be the same at all Gamestops, but Im not sure. Pick up is midnight est. since I'm in Iowa, I can pick it up at 11. West coast is at 10.

I got so excited...here's how it came out:

I tried to remain unspoiled, but all of these twitch streams were too difficult to resist. The more I see of Solas, the more adorable he becomes.

They both have great voices! Buuuut, I have been re-watching Torchwood, and dat voice. GDL could read the dictionary (if Morgan Freeman hadn't already beaten him to it) and it would sound amazing.

I saw that, too. I literally squeed out loud. At which point my husband turned to me and said, "That's the game you're picking up at midnight tomorrow, right?"
