Ugh, I was planning my first playthrough to be my human mage Cullen romance when I finally get the game in a couple of days, but... I swear the more I read about Solas, the more I'm wanting to change it up. I'm finding it really hard to resist. What have you done to me Bioware. ;a;

I think you can only export one worldstate at a time if I remember correctly. If you want to use multiple ones you go back into the keep and export a new one. Unless they changed it.

I really liked the first one, but the eyes were way too bright outside of the character creator so I restarted and decided to start from scratch.

The Masked Empire is very good, arguably the best of the DA novels. It's also an excellent set up for DAI.

 

Anyway, I am completely in love with Solas and his bone-dry wit. I could listen to him subtly mock other companions all day long, although I really need to start moving the plot along. I've been lollygagging in the Hinterlands for hours and hours because it's so much fun to just explore! Oh, well. Onward and upward to romance, I suppose. Here's my Lavellan, Seth. Her mouth does terrible things sometimes, but I think she's cute:

After reading the spoilers and some dialogue, Solas quickly became of my favorite characters in Dragon Age. Can't wait to romance him with my F!Lavellan (assuming my game can work.)

Finally got the game to work decently for me...I've been fixing this fixing that for hours now cause I've got a ok but not so great graphics card lol. I finally got past the first boss (I know not very far but I was having trouble with the game earlier).Now I'm calling it a night cause I got up to early this morning. Tomorrow is a new day and I'll try to post a pic of Arya.

Also I want to add that y'all have posted some pretty elves.

Okay...

 

After playing for 13 hours I have come up for air. In that time I became completely lost in the Hinterlands, discovered one amusing bug, and died a fiery death because I stood too long watching in awe as a dragon flew overhead . Oh be quiet, how was I to know the damn thing would breathe fire at us? We were practically hidden in a cave! If we don't count that, I haven't died once! I am playing on normal though, so that's not such a big deal.

 

Loving the game so far, but feeling so overwhelmed by all the everything. I get to play all day tomorrow too, so with any luck I will learn how to find my way around a bit better. I hope the Solas "interesting" spoilers aren't really truly awful bad. I'm really liking him so far, and he is getting along smashingly with my Lavellan. GOOD THINGS MUST COME OF THIS.

Solas is the Dread Wolf and Flemeth is Mythal.

 

At the end of the game, Solas disappears from the party. Before that, he is seen taking a look at Corypheus' broken orb. The very broken orb that was used to cause all the chaos. 

 

In the post-credits scene, Solas is shown to meet Flemeth in front of a large working Eluvian.

 

They greet each other as long lost old friends, she calls him the Dread Wolf, it becomes apparent that Solas gave the orb to Corypheus to do what he did in game (albeit unintentionally).

 

Apparently the Dread Wolf awoke from his long slumber, was weak and so was unable to use his full powers via the orb. So he unintentionally gave it to Corypheus to activate it...but Corypheus then misused it to his own ends...

 

Flemeth then apologizes to the Dread Wolf. Solas then says that The People, most likely referring to the Elves, need him. 

 

Solas then appears to absorb Flemeth's life force away and the post credits scene shows Solas with his eyes shining with newfound power.

 

So those who romance Solas can say they have f***ed a God.

The altar used at Sundermount to bring Flemeth back to life in DA2 from the amulet is the Altar of Mythal. Hence why I think she is most likely Mythal. Also Mythal gets along well with every one in the Elven Pantheon, including Fen'Harel. Flemeth refers to Solas as an old friend.

 

Also, this means that the Elven gods in Thedas are like the Altmer gods of Tamriel...They are powerful beings from which the Elves were descended...

 

I hope if we did not kill Flemeth in DA:O, she still lives. Fen'Harel looked like he killed her by absorbing her life force in order to help The People.

I have always loved The Dread Wolf and I even made my elven Warden more or less a follower of The Dread Wolf with Solas being the Dread Wolf, I'm in heaven....
