That's what I thought, thanks!
I normally don't care too much about graphics, but the makes me want to justify buying the xbone. But I do need more than the strong desire to see Solas, I mean my Inquisitor in HD to justify this purchase.
Hmmm.
That's what I thought, thanks!
So I downloaded Inquisition and it should be unlocked but it says I have to go to playstation network and purchase it even though I did? Help! ![]()
I have a couple questions, how is everyone taking nice screenshots? Is there a camera snapshot button like on steam or are you guys just hitting the print screen button? Sorry if I sound dumb
And does anyone know if Solas ever gets naked? I'm not a perv or anything, I just want to know for science....<.<
Download Fraps, it's quick and easy and if you don't like it it's a rather easy to delete from your computer as well.
Okay, so this thing happened and even though it's just gameplay/tactics, I found it amazingly sweet and Solas-related, so putting it here.
I've been running around doing everything I possibly can in the Hinterlands, aside from facing the Momma Dragon, because I'm such a darned completionist. LOL So, I don't even have Skyhold yet; I'm still based in Haven.
As we were rolling along closing Fade rifts, one appeared that was filled with despair demons. I... am pretty sure it was meant for a higher level Inquisitor than I was at the time, as some rifts have been easy and others have been monsters. ![]()
This one was the worst I've encountered so far. I'm playing on Casual and it still almost wiped the whole party. You'll see in the video that we fly through all our health potions, then one by one the party drops. It comes down to a final stand with only me and Solas... and twice Solas literally saves my life with a last-minute barrier. The last one he cast before he finally fell was just enough of a push to get my Lavellan through the fight, the rift closed, and the party back on its feet.
Even one of the female devs remarked on Twitter (when I posted it) that, "He knew what he had to do to save his Inquisitor. I'm surprisingly taken with him. :3 "
Behold Heroic Solas and Herp-A-Derp Mikayla. ![]()
UGH, finally got home to gather all my screenshots and make a small collage of Verlaina. I hope its still ok to show off our elfquisitors! I like how this thread is both Solas friendly as well as a general yay elves thread. xD You guys are great!
But anyway, heres some pictures of her! Hope the pics not too big.

Verlaina Lavellan, cutie pie rift mage who's both pro mage and pro elves! Cassandra tolerates her and Vivienne hates her guts. =7= I gave her purple eyes because ever since it was made canon in The Stolen Throne I have wanted to make one with gorgeous purple eyes. Also...she took too long to make, like an hour or so!
Also heres a picture of my currently quite hobo looking Solas, love how he looks with hoods.

Of course PSN sharing died right when I wanted to upload cute kisses. QmQ I'll try again later.

My Quiz in the spoilers above. Sorry about the shite quality. It's off my phone. Print screen just gave me a black image. >.<
I have only done the first flirts because I'm trying to discover/collect all of the things. 'Tis my weakness.
Oh my god, that's the same rift I died at. All of a sudden ICE BEAMS OF DEATH and I'm like WAT. Solas's barriers were not strong enough. 8(
Same, it's making my own completionist inclination itch. I'm like 'I CAN'T FINISH THE AREA FOR AWHILE? D:' I'm going to go back and try to get a few more levels, then finish all but the dragon before moving on. I get the feeling I'm going to put this thing over a hundred hours trying to complete each area. (Which apparently isn't necessary? I feel overwhelmed with all the new areas that popped up.)
Okay, so this thing happened and even though it's just gameplay/tactics, I found it amazingly sweet and Solas-related, so putting it here.

Oh god, pretty much the exact same thing happened to me! Multiple times, in fact. Solas is best Barrier Babysitter. I'm a mage too, but I always get distracted by all the shiny elemental spells and neglect my barriers, so I specced Solas to pick up the slack (though I'm putting more points into barrier now because it's really useful). Solas knows how to play this game even if I don't.
Now I'm imagining Solas patiently trying to explain to my Inquisitor that, yes, working on your barrier is in fact useful, and will keep everybody alive.
Hey guys! I'm new to the forums, but I had to come over here just to share the following screencap I grabbed. All I can think of when I see this is Solas saying:
"Hey little mama let me whisper in your ear"
Spoiler tag is there just so you don't have a gigantic picture on the screen when the page loads.
Omg I can't even believe how much I love solas
He had me from his intro. This game has me hooked. Just came back up for air to check in with you guys and post my inquisitor.
This is my inquisitor which so happens to have a solas shot in it!

Took me 5 tries to create her lol.
Her name is Alina and her name means light
. She is fiery, sassy and indignant. She really doesn't know what her role is in the inquisition yet but doesn't feel like she has much choice but to stick around and help out. This is her mindset atm, I am sure through out her journeys and the ppl she meets *wink solas* she will change her mind but atm she isn't too trilled about her current predicament lol. At least she gets along smashing with Varric and Solas lol.
Finally got Fraps to work, so I could take screenies. This is kinda a spoilery part for Solas's romance, but it has been mentioned here already. It's from the dream sequence. Also spoilered for size.
I'm really enjoying his romance. Everything he says seems so deliberate, and carefully chosen. It's interesting deciphering what exactly he means. The dynamic between Solas and Lavellan is great. I can't imagine it not being in the game. I love how sly and direct he is in the dream scene. I might have a save just to replay it. ![]()
It's like Fenris all over again for me.

Here's my Inquisitor. Gryff Lavellan, sword and board Warrior. This hair is the closest to the style I had imagined her with. Her nose has been broken so it’s a wee bit skeewiff. No idea what this vallaslin means beyond speculation (thanks marketing…). Decided on blue as it reminds me of woad (Scot here).
She isn't meant to be pretty !

Behold Heroic Solas and Herp-A-Derp Mikayla.
THAT F***ING RIFT. I was there yesterday. And by "there" I mean, "present and shrieking at the screen while my entire party died horrible frozen deaths." Tricksy of them to throw in such a hard one...I didn't even bother to check the levels of the demons there before I started firing. Apparently I'd gotten overconfident. And now that lost druffalo up the river has to wait, because I'm not going back until I have more firepower. I had this stupid idea I was going to Do All The Things yesterday in the Hinterlands. Nope.
I did finally leave the Hinterlands long enough to go pick up Vivi and Sera. Vivi is interesting, and I can see where she's coming from even though I'm pretty sure she's going to end up not liking me. Maia is really not feeling the humans' oppressive circle system. Also, freaking templars, man. Oddly enough, I'm kind of "meh" on Sera so far. It's just a personality thing. She really doesn't blend with my Inquisitor...Maia has turned out to be responsible, curious, somewhat snarky, a little flirty, and often wearily amused by the amount of crazy BS surrounding her. She gets on very well with Cass, and Solas is a welcome oasis of calm for her. I feel like they're already kind of a unit, even as they're still feeling each other out. It's nice.
I guess that's what's growing on me so much about him...he's this pillar of quiet, confident strength. I was expecting good, but this is even better. I'll get most of the rest of the party today, I think. May try to run with Vivi and Solas together and see how that goes.
Now watch me spend ten hours at the Storm Coast and accomplish nothing.
Yesterday I played the prologue. SOLAS
He's the best barrier-sitter of all time.
I couldn't believe my eyes, this game is so pretty. The FPS drop in cutscenes is annoying, but I believe the devs are already working on that (bless them). I think when I'll come home form work today I'll restart because I'm not so statisfied with the way my Lavallan looks. (I'm in love with the CC anyway, won't trouble me
)
And I sure don't mind seeing Solas grab my elf's hand another time ![]()

I actually think it makes him even cooler. I mean, he's a pretty awesome character already, but now there's that and I love him even more. ![]()
I'm going to try that, Solas. Thanks!
The only companions I don't have are Blackwall and Cole. Well, technically Dorian too because I stopped playing right after his intro.
Btw, did anyone.... (slight spoilers ahead)
