Perhaps he gave his orb to corypheous because he thought that corypheous would be killed when the orb was unlocked. The idea feels so... anti-climactic though.

I raced through the main storyline (40 hours) because it was so riveting and didn't sleep much. I took vacation from work so I had no obligations.

A few pages ago someone was asking can you enter into a romance with someone else like Cullen after Solas dumps you. I just tested it for you and you can't. You can however enter into the romance with Cullen if you dump Solas at the dumping scene before he dumps you, LOL. If HE dumps YOU Cullen is still flagged as "you're seeing someone, sorry".

 

Biowareee you won't even let us run into someone else's arms after the god wolf leaves us!! :'(

Is this intentional or is it a bug, you think?  I was thinking of romancing Solas because he's very fascinating, but it seems to end with the two apart, which isn't very fun!

I have and urgent question. So far I started the romance with solas and had a kiss with him in the first scene, after that I finished his personal quest (saved his friend) Then I got his second romance scene BUT he only tells me in the end of the conversation that he respects me ... I am really confused ... the only other person I flirted with is cullen but nothing happend with him @.@

Weird. I flirted with everyone even got to the point of telling Blackwall i agree we "can't continue this" and still got the second scene. You may need to increase your approval with Solas

PW was asked by someone if there will be more for Solas and all he commented was "Spoilers!" so I think it's safe to say that if there's any doubt of Solas not showing up later -- which there shouldn't be after that epilogue but you know --  there's more to come.

 

I know a lot of people were asking why we were given his romance if this is the way things turned out, and I think that's exactly why. There's still more, likely so much more that we will have to wait and see. He's going to keep being important. Being able to romance him and see different sides to his character, to get attached and to anticipate...I think that's why. They must've given it plenty of deliberation and decided that there was even more they could do with his character, at least in Inquisition.

They could already have a dlc or expansion they are already working on and had a bigger picture planned out.
So, we could get a sex scene later on. Something heartbreakingly romantic. Like "even if its just this once, I need you" kinda deal. Bonus points if its in the fade.

I guess we can pretty much think it is certain but we don't get to peek 

 

Which, kind of fits him, I think. His and Quizzy's love is a lot more "spiritual".

I think it is fairly likely vertigomez. There's a few references to it in the dialogue (enjoyable side-benefit comment from Solas, and I believe a few comments from Sera [something about how he cries out about elven glory during sex and how they're bumping their elf bits together or something like that? I've only read about it and my memory is poor]). Of course this isn't clear-cut and there's plenty of room to headcanon that they didn't, but imo it is likely that they did.

I think it is intentional. I guess having completed the Solas romance then being dumped with him, then completing a romance with another character, would complicate flags and plot-lines for Solas/Lavellan interaction in whatever future they have planned for DA:I (dlc expansions etc). They already have a complicated enough relationship situation without "and also I took another lover when you left" LOL

I think it's safe to say that they left it ambiguous so people could interpret it how they want. Obviously that makes it seem like it doesn't happen, especially when other romances do get scenes and his seems to sparse. I'm just gonna go ahead and headcanon that my Lavellan and him did as that's how her personality is. Unless it's brought up that they *didn't* I'll just use my imagination.

The temple of Mythal, and like someone else said earlier the statues in there (I assume they are Mythal) do have some resemblance to Flemeth, which is interesting. There's the iconic kneepads but also, her arms look like bat/dragon wings - and who do we know that can turn into a dragon?
