Am I the only one who hasn't heard any party banter between Solas and Cole? I have them in my party all the time and I hear loads of banter, but it's not once been between the two of them. I even took only the two of them out to test it and still nothing. On PS4.

From what I've heard dialogue is one of the things that's bugged between companions. Some people get tones of it, others are getting next to nothing.

Oh OK thanks. At least that means a patch is more likely if it's a known issue. But if anyone has heard any banter between Solas and Cole, I'd still appreciate knowing. It would bother me less if I knew it was just me.

I JUST SPENT ALMOST TWO HOURS WANDERING AROUND WITH SOLAS AND SERA TO GET THIS*. Not sure if you meant the banter or the comment in her room, but here's the banter:
Sera: So, you and the Lady Inquisitor. Interesting.
Solas: Your interest is not my concern.
Sera: That's all right, because I meant boring. The elf always takes the elf so bumping bits will mean something.
Solas: It is not a topic for discussion.
Sera: Oh, come on, drop 'em and rebuild the empire. Phwoar!
Lavellan: Sera! No more!
Sera: Hmph! Fine. Whatever.
Solas: Don't concern yourself, vhenan. She is... apart from herself.
(Obviously, I didn't choose the "[laugh]" option; I'm not sure what happens with that. :U My Lavellan has tried to get along with Sera, but, uh. It has not worked yet. I don't think it ever will.)
* I took Sera and Solas on an elf-only field trip to the Emerald Graves/Exalted Plains. No one enjoyed it. :| Those two places seem to be where I get the most banter, though. Or I'm imagining it.

I've gotten one where Cole talks about Solas' pain, which hints at spoilery things.
He has some great dialogue with Sera to paraphrase one banter:
Solas: So your Friends of Red Jenny strike from the shadows?
Sera: You have a problem with that?
Solas: Of course not. One should attack where the enemy is weakest, disappear before they can strike back, and return when they least expect it.
Sera: Uh huh.
Solas: Do you want to keep running around or do you want to learn something?
Sera: Uh, neither.

So, I looked on the wiki to translate "Ar lath ma, vhenan". Am I right in that it means "You are my love, [my] heart"???
I need to brush up on my Dragon Age lore... Solas (and DA: I) definitely sparked a big interest for me

Am i the only one who wishes solas had big elf eyes. they seem kinda small for an elf.
Elf eyes are much more proportional this time around. Which is good because they made them look like aliens in DA2.
And I love Solas's face. After all of that "Nosferatu" this, and "Bald Nicholas Cage" that, he looks so sodding amazing. Especially his facial expressions. He can look both joyous and utterly grief-stricken. It really brings him to life.

And it just made me remember what he said in Haven after the end of the mage quest. Something about, "I cannot help you if you wish to talk about Orlesian fashion, but unusual magic? That I can do."
That makes me want to roll Team Rich People Make Fun of the Elf's Outfit (a.k.a Team Mage).
