And it just made me remember what he said in Haven after the end of the mage quest. Something about, "I cannot help you if you wish to talk about Orlesian fashion, but unusual magic? That I can do."
 
That makes me want to roll Team Rich People Make Fun of the Elf's Outfit (a.k.a Team Mage).

Solas is really big on layers. Any armor you stick him in just adds different outer layers to his usual tunic and leggings.

Also poor Solas' feet must get cold up there in Skyhold. Someone needs a pair of fuzzy Nug slippers.

Pfffft. I noticed that. My headcanon is that he has a really unusual fashion sense. Not even a "but it's comfortable" sort of thing, but a "that is some gorgeous mustard-yellow plaid!" Too cute.

ugh I so hope the dlc will have some angst/romance between Solas and Lavellan.

I want this so much it hurts.   I want MORE, dammit! I need closure! This is probably my favourite romance in a Bioware game next to Garrus, and that is saying something.

The problem with plaidweave is that Sera's default outfit makes use of it. Laundry day in Skyhold must be fun:

When I first mentioned toe socks, I was envisioning rainbow ones. We Solas fans have a psychic connection. I... have no idea why it's tailored toward terrible fashion choices, though.

After Anders I would not be surprised if they have a pot luck jar sitting in the middle of their office, which has a quarter put into it every time they come across one of us sobbing on the forums from the feels. They're going to have the best pot luck dinner ever at this rate, second only to the dinner they had once people discovered the ending for DA2.

About the final romance scene:

I honestly can't decide if I want to keep the vallaslin or not! The way he interrupts you and says "Stop. You are perfect, just the way you are." is SO good.

I haven't even started my Dalish rogue yet, but my plan was to have her be very pro-Dalish and interested in reclaiming elven history and lore. I know she would react with anger and shock to Solas telling her the true meaning of the vallaslin, but after that wore off, I'm not sure how she would feel about it. Would she want it removed, because it would be bringing her closer to the ancient elves? Or would she cling to the Dalish tradition that she's revered her whole life?

I didn't, it sounded familiar but when you answered it reminded me I hadn't actually gotten it to work. lol <--- Is horrible at this. i thought I had since it did sound so familiar but I haven't explored all areas so I couldn't have done so. Really sorry for the confusion. ^^;

Man, I don't usually post on these forums, but I have to chime in to say that Solas is my favorite Bioware companion ever. Hands down. He's fascinating to talk to. And romancing him as a Lavellan mage (she's super interested in her past and has very liberal views on magic, so aside from his condemnation of the Dalish they're two peas in a pod) has felt like it's added so much to the story, and...

I just talked to him after What Pride Had Wrought. Dang. I knew it was coming but I WAS NOT PREPARED. And I know about him being Fen'Harel (I'm really glad I was spoiled for that - it makes the romance so much better, omg, and the guy has so much subtle foreshadowing going on). So I would have expected something like this anyway. But my Lavellan cried, guys.
