So it is canon that Solas is a damn good artist (I mean holy crap those murals are AMAZING) and we DONT get a cutscene-conversation of him painting or sitting somewhere around Skyhold doing sketches of the people and things around him? We get a scene with Blackwall making pretty wood-figures but not one of Solas painting/sketching?
Or with  a romanced Lavellan we could have even had a scene where he sketches her or something?

MISSED OPPORTUNITY. BIOWARE I AM DISAPPOINTED IN YOU. SHAME ON YOU. YOU GO SIT IN THE TIME-OUT CORNER.

I'm getting a headcannon now... Inquisitor asking about the mural. or painting a little white stag in the tiniest corner and one day Solas finally notices it... and I don't know how he'd react, but.

Some of the middle dialogue choices in some of the scenes can lead to dialogue that is ambiguous enough to allude to them having been intimate, but nothing ever shown on-screen.

Some dialogue with other characters e.g. Sera could also be taken to imply that they have been intimate

 

Also that Dorian/Solas banter is hilarious, such sass Dorian! watch who you're sassing

 

Awesome that Lavellan is always a stag on the card - what animals are the other Inquisitors depicted as? Thanks for checking whether it changed based on class. It didn't occur to me that it might be a halla rather than a normal deer stag - neat.

 

As for the red hart halla, yeah, it's actually just a red hart, there was an error in marketing. I do think the harts have a link to the elves anyway though there seem to be a lot of statues of harts in elven areas/ruins in the game so make of that what you will!

Also I've decided he either waxes his head, or he's just naturally bald. It's way too shiny to be shaved! His brows are, what, auburn? Brown? I can't teeelllll.

STILL NOT REALLY READING THIS THREAD NOPE. Running around looking at the Exalted Plains right now and finishing stuff up there. Just wanted to share a picture I nabbed where Solas looks awesome. The impression from the lighting was much better in the full screenshot, but it had text on it and didn't want to risk it being any sort of spoiler.

Beyond the sappy "I felt the earth move" kind of stuff. We know it means more than that.

 

Curious to know if he says this line to everyone and it's not a romance specific dialog?

 

I thought that might be general game talk, as in he was ready to leave, until he realized the Inquisitor had power over the rifts. But I don't know.

Taking my turn to hop in and say what a fan I am of the Solas 'mance.  I was an Iron Bull fan through & through but was majorly uncomfortable with his romance arc; I had planned Solas for my #2 playthrough, and now at ~10 hours in I am a convert.  Humans are normally my preferred canon race, but I am deleting my first playthrough and supplanting it with fElf/Solas for sure.  

 

Question, though, since my achievement cherry was popped with Bull:

Yep! His just takes a while--it's after one of the last main story missions in the game.

 

Unrelated: I was texting my younger sister about Dragon Age and she told me to stop "Solas-ing" her. I don't know what that means, but I'm choosing to take it as a compliment.

I think they appear bit by bit after each main story quest is done. Section by section, starting to the right of the door that leads up the tower to Dorian and Leliana (although of course the events before Skyhold are all there when you get to Skyhold). I took screenshots of them all, here they are for reference, I wonder if you agree with my interpretations. Spoilers below obviously. I demarcated it in yellow lines.

Yeah, me, too. I'm a female elf rogue and I have a stag. Actually think I have a different-looking stag for my "Lavellan" codex card.

I was referring to the codex entry card for your clan. Which is definitely a stag. I don't remember what the rogue elf card was at beginning of game... awesomely hilarious/ironic that it seems it was a wolf?

This is the explosion.

This is the formation of the Inquisition. Inquisition symbol and all that.

This is the events of Redcliffe. Two versions of the castle in the distance, one red and black (the Cory wins future). The figure is the Magister. Snakes=Tevinter and all that. The one to the right of that one is Cory looming over the burning of Haven in the mountains.

Halamshiral. Assassin lurks in the window of the palace. Blue figure is clearly Celene.

Events at Adamant. Clearly see Warden symbol. Fortress in the distance.

Temple of Mythal. Figure dressed like Abelas.

Final battle. A wolf, a sword and the foot of a giant beast (the dragon?)
