The snail, bringing up the rear. I am taking forever (by choice though, so it's all good ). I will however, be finishing out Haven today. *nods!*

I do have a question though, that isn't exactly Solas related. It has to do with those interjection dialogue options. They are basically like a QTE - being timed and all. My problem is I have rather crappy eye-sight. By the time my eyes focus enough to read the text, POOF my time is up.

Is there a "pattern" to these dialogue options? Like, the left side is always more direct or angry, and the right is always more diplo and/or charming? (just as an example.) If there is a pattern, then I can just choose the "emotional" response, I feel is fitting for my PC, and not worry about reading the text. So far, I have had two of these; the first I missed completely, because I didn't know it was being timed. And the second, I just clicked something so as to at least get SOME content and use, out of those dialogue options. LOL! I got lucky though, since it seemed fitting enough for my PC, in that moment.

I have exhausted all my dialogue options with Solas, and have flirted with him when allowed. But one question:

I have read in the spoiler thread, and I believe this thread as well, that Solas will start referring to you as "friend", when you click on him (something like, "Yes my friend?"). Should I already be getting that while still in Haven? I have gotten lots of approval from him, but he still pretty much just says, "Hello". I think he has one other response to me clicking on him, occasionally, but I can't remember what it was. And it still didn't reference Lavellan as "friend". Just making sure I'm not missing something, especially since I am about to finish out Haven.

Thanks in advance, to anyone wanting to help this old tortoise out.

Oh about the stag/halla thing, I was also referring to the codex entry, not the card from the beginning, oops, I should've clarified that. How does one join the spoiler group? Lavellan ventures to Solas's village- aka, those ancient ruins Leliana mentioned in her letter... will she find anything juicy? Clues left behind by her beau? He doesn't strike me as that sloppy, but in other ways it almost seems like he wants to be found out. Like it'd be a huge burden lifted off his shoulders. Of course, that spells a whole 'nother kind of trouble...

Absolutely he loves her. Or at least I believe so. He says it himself, what we had was real, and his gift - the truth about the vallaslin - is entirely unselfish, to my reckoning. Plus, his greatest fear isn't "being found out" or "powerless"... it's dying alone.

Wait...what?  There's timed dialogue? I haven't seen any, or maybe I'm just especially decisive lately with my current mood and all. But I don't remember anything like that...

Okay I've said it before and I'll say it again

Solas is Amazing and I love him and I like the romance a lot and will play many more female elves in the future but....it doesn't feel complete and I feel we will probably get a DLC in the near future and I am hoping that there will be choices for us to have a good ending a good closure with Solas or for you people that like dramatic bittersweet sad endings you can get that too. I also have read that Solas was weak when he gave Cory his orb so I don't think Solas meant for that to happen at the temple of Sacred Ashes,that's probably why he's helping in the first place.

 

Anyways I love this game and I am still playing my first pt....a week later.

Is it just me or does Solas seem to have a noticeable lack of cut-scenes at Skyhold compared to other characters? Even if he's romanced. I'm practically drowning in Cassandra cut-scenes, on the other hand. For a core character that has such an ending, you sure don't seem to get a lot of bonding time with him.

Oh my god, when I first saw that tombstone and read that his fear was dying alone I really had to stop and stand there for a few minutes puppy-eyeing my monitor, followed by yelling I'LL NEVER LEAVE YOU SOLAS! but that was before I knew what happened in the end so yeah.. *sigh* I was so naive!

No I've noticed that..after the second kiss he really doesn't have much to say and it's a bit upsetting.

That really bothers me ;/ it's like all the others have awesome cut scenes and dialog but Solas doesn't have a lot at all. I also wish he had more than 2 personal quests. I like the romances better than DA2, but they still didn't do a GREAT job, just normal job leaning on slightly bad with the dialogue and story progression.

And just think, without the romance he'd have practically nothing... Not a good way to endear people to your character sadly when everyone else has so much going for them. My hopes is that they're saving it all for DLC, but... Yeah...

Now I'm dreading( <--- see what I did there) to play my male character on the lack of scenes he will have with his friend.
