THAT'S IT! THAT was the one that I first got as well, and I missed it for the same reasons. Hell, it took me nearly two seconds just for my blasted eyes to focus on the text, then I start reading and *poof!* Gone. I didn't reload, since I was unsure if it would repeat. Dammit!! I should have reloaded. LOL! Curse my self.

Well, unless they decide to extend the amount of time, it is on the screen, I think I will be SOL. /head-desk. *chuckle*

The reload was even a bit weird, I reloaded an auto-save from before the banter fired and didn't get it again, but after reloading a quick save about 3 minutes earlier and replaying I got it again. Two of the options were:

 

PC: We are both of the same people, Solas.

Solas: The dalish I met felt... differently on the subject.

and

PC: What do you mean by "crossed paths"?

Solas: I mean that I offered to share knowledge, only to be attacked for no greater reason than their superstition.

 

I assume these aren't spoilery since they're like 15 minutes into the game  But they're actually pretty interesting, the 2nd one even more so I think.

It sorta looks like a bear but it looks more like a wolf to me,so I think I'll keep the Solas and Lavellan embracing each other too lol

Lol, nothing wrong with that! Personally even if it isn't meant to be them, it's given me some lovely head canons about what legends the elves might pass down years from now about the Dread Wolf and his Lady. It sort of has that mystical quality to it you'd see in old folktales.

But there's nothing in Mythal's iconography of her having stag's horns. They aren't even halla horns (so not Ghilan'nain either). But a female Dalish inquisitor is represented on her tarot card by a while stag. I suppose it could have to do with a dalish myth, but a bear/wolf/thing embracing a woman with white stag horns doesn't ring a bell.

I found another all the way up in the building of the blacksmith, across the tavern, I think someone earlier pointed that out. I'm posting another picture of it but I think it's the exact same.

In every other depiction of a wolf we've seen, they've at least got the pointy ears. That animal has no visible ears and has the muzzle/nose/body type of a bear.

 

Sorry if it seems like I'm trying to rain on the parade, I just don't understand how it looks like a wolf. :c Could anyone please explain why they think it is one?

Well, the lips on the painting are pretty distinctly a bear. But I imagine there must be some sort of story involved with it. Unless maybe it is an obscure reference to the Bear and the Maiden Fair?

The horns dont look like her but its white, like flemeth's hair i guess? At the epilouge, Solas is holding flemeth who is falling to the ground. Maybe it's not fire that the wolf is breathing, but it's sucking in mythals soul?

 

this would explain why it shows up in every race and non romanced playthroughs

While I think it looks more like a bear myself, I could see the wolf angle.

 

Also, I don't see that as fire-breathing. I see it as wind or air rushing out representing the beast making a sound... like howling.
