I'm in danger of falling back into Skyrim habits; there's a part of me that believes if I just jump hard enough I can get to the top of the hill. 

Hehehe I've done that so many times!

 

Is it just me or DAI is made for mountain goats ? I don't remember ever having so much trouble navigating hills on WoW, DAO, DA2, Skyrim, Elder Scrolls, etc...

At most I think BW will use it as an excuse to give Flemeth another make-over, possibly as an elf. I doubt they've killed either of them off not as a epilogue scene at any rate DLC might be a different story.

I am amazed at how much more invested in the Dragon Age lore I suddenly am. I mean, I was interested before, but in a distant way. Now I want to know things and I want to know them now.

 

I agree with you! I just wonder if others who didn't really spend much time with his character would agree. (and being someone who now can't physically bring herself to create anything but a female elf inquisitor, I will probably never be able to understand what other players think). But it does seem like, from postings from people who did make him into more of a "rival" character, he retains that sort of "everything is more complicated than good and evil" sort of attitude. Which I like to think is promising for what they'll do with his character in the future.  /crosses fingers

Yeah. I've spent a whole game getting to know him, and I'm constantly amazed at what a good person he is. He's grumpy, yes. He's opinionated. But he hasn't got a selfish bone in his body and he's such a sweetheart. He's like Cassandra in a way. His grumpiness stems from how much he wants to make the world a better place but isn't quite sure how.

 

The thought of all of this being resolved by a protagonist other than my Inquisitor is really painful.

That would be a hilarious reason. I too doubt either of them are 'dead' for good.

make it look like the "dread wolf" isn't dead but has been possessed by Flemeth's (or Mythal's) spirit so he (Solas) is not really responsible for his actions anymore?

I hope they don't do it! That would mean in DLC I would be in love with Morrigan's old hag of a mother!!!

Bioware said you can play Inquiz without playing the other 2, but I find that impossible. How are you supposed to know wtf is going on? You have to be invesested or at least know about the lore. You need to understand the characters from the previ games, especially Morrigan and Flemeth. How is any new play to Dragon Age supposed to like it if it just seems like a boring "Um evil person dead oh look this guy was actually a really important charater all along how origninal not like every other fricking RPG" to them? This is why I wish people would either try their best to learn about all the characters, and everyone needs to romance Solas. Not only for Dragon Age sake but for sexy elf sake.

Ok, don't stone me to death but if that's the case, and Lavellan ascends to godhood to spend eternity with Solas I'd see this song being their theme song.  (Yes, that one from Twilight)
