Damn... before playing the game I really expected Solas to be one of my least liked characters - 25 hours into the game and he's probably my second favorite, right after Cassandra.
His ingenuity, loyalty, receptiveness and just the overall feeling of true friendship really got to me. It's really great when a character pleasantly surprises you like this.
Not going to read this thread just yet for fear of spoilers. But I just needed to express my feelings (near the end of the game, romancing solas, big spoilers)

I know two more artifact locations for those that need them.
One is in the Solasan Temple, when you go down the stairs
Another one is in the Exalted Plains near the Dragon (you'll probably find it while doing Viv's personal quest)
Someone know some other locations? Storm Coast or something?
There is one waay down south by the rift below the cave/dungeon (Lyrium falls). There is one by the fortress? on the east side right next to it (North of Daerwin's mouth).

I dunno, Dorian seems to give as good as he gets. From what I've heard, anyways. I always thought they got along rather well.
Noooot from the banter I've gotten. Dorian seems to really respect Solas and tries so hard to find common ground, even going so far as to apologize for the way past Tevinter treated the elves, but Solas is just not having it. I just recently started having both in my party so maybe it gets a little better? I get Solas's reasoning for being pissy but it just sucks when I like both characters so much!

Mhm, I managed to find a collector's edition and am waiting to continue my next playthrough until it comes. Helps make me wait for the inevitable patches too, since it's from a secondary seller and will take awhile. Are the maps any good?

Besides the one by Hinterlands ? "Front Leg" has been kicking my team's beehive for ages.. What level is he doable ? At 12 he is deadly

Ah Vinsomer...this dragon is for Level 13-15+. That's what it says and it's odd how it shows on the map in the guide he is on the other side of the coast on another land but you see this dragon on the coast that you show up on when you head to the The Storm Coast and it's fighting with a Giant lol.
Oops that one is on the coast your talking about the hinterlands...hold on...
In the Hinterlands it's the Fereldan frostback and it says level 12+

oh wow it even has the dragon locations? now I need to buy a guide lol,I've managed to avoid dragons on the maps so far but knowing exactly where they were would be a much bigger help

There's this other one where Solas comments on the flashiness of Dorian's style of magic, and questions why he doesn't tone it down a bit to save power. Dorian laughs and says that he'd be healthier eating rice and veggies for the rest of his life, but it'd be just as unlikely. I dunno, they seem to get along rather well, even if Solas gets a bit grumpy with him sometimes. Dorian just laughs it off.

I might be a bit underlevelled for past Haven. I was told that I should level to 15 to do the Skyhold start but couldn't take yet more grinding so did it at 11.

What level is the once at Crestwood? It took me about 4 times but I finally killed it being level 8. I have my own Dragon Killing squad which consists of mage or archer quizzy, Solas, Dorian, and Sera.

11 is actually pretty decent for just getting Skyhold, I was at 16 when I beat the game on my quick run through.
The problem with the Frostback is that it has mobs that rush you and your party AI doesn't always allow for quick enough responses to get away from it's fireballs. I took in two mages each with Regeneration Pots, a tank, and a rogue - the latter with AOE pots, and while it took forever it was doable. Was a fun fight but I had no remorse left for the baby dragons at the end of it.
