Guess we've been getting different banters then. How frequently have you been getting them?

 

Pretty frequently. And even the banters you posted aren't exactly friendly. Solas is just really not about Tevinter and doesn't seem to think Dorian is too effective of a rebel. I'd post examples but I can't record quickly on Xbox One and don't know if anyone has them up anywhere.

There is one waay down south by the rift below the cave/dungeon (Lyrium falls). There is one by the fortress? on the east side right next to it (North of Daerwin's mouth).

Do you guys know if Solas comments on your specialisation? I'm still unsure if my Lavellan should become a Knight Enchanter or Necromancer. Necromancer would show her sometimes dangerous curiosity for the world...but the Knight Enchanter would also fit her personality. Gameplay wise both options sound good as well. Mhm...

Solas does. As does Cole and a few other characters. I loved that conversation he had with my Rift Mage inquisitor~

 

He talked to you about being a Rift Mage? He wouldn't say anything to my Lavellan about it... :c  I even went back to a save 20 hours prior and hunted down all of the tomes again just to see if it was because of the point I was at. Do you remember what the last main story quest was before becoming a Rift Mage?

He didn't to me. I think maybe only the companion with the same specialization comments on it. I had a conversation with Viv about it.

 

Edit: Actually, Sera commented on it too. Said that I was getting scary with how strong my magic was getting.

After cruising the Solas tag on tumblr, it looks like he is a really popular romance option! I'm glad everyone is liking Solas alot, it makes me feel all warm inside. Also I can't help but laugh at all the WHY SOLAS posts. x'D

 

And yeah, I didn't receive any extra dialogue with Solas about being a rift mage, but heard that he does say something. Cole and I did have a chat about it though.

I have a rift mage inquisitor and Solas in my party all the time. Our secondary specializations are different though. It works out pretty well.

Going to have to put this play through on hold though. Nutz. I ended up getting the voice-change bug, after recreating my Castor Hawke's face. Had a feeling I would, since I chose Sumalee's voice. Not willing to compromise on either - the voice change, or not making Castor's face as it should be.

Ahh well, it looks like Abel is up. My human male mage, who will hunker down with Dorian.

*hope that patch comes out relatively soon though, I was really enjoying myself. *

It's making me want to browse Tumblr more honestly, seeing just how much he's exploded over the past week makes me all giddy inside. I always seem to take a liking to the romance options that get the least representation and end up rather sad with how little fanart or fanfiction is made for them, so this time I'm really looking forward to seeing what the boom in popularity is going to bring!

It's okay! The conversation must not be triggering for me for some reason... Sera and Cole acknowledged that she became a Rift Mage both times, but Solas never said a thing. (And he was the one I cared about most, along with Cole. Oh well, I guess I had to get hit with some kind of bug...)

Speaking of specs, I'm not sure whether I want to roll an archer or DW this time... archer probably fits Dalish lore better(?), but when the bae is ranged I like to jump in the melee and protect them LOL. Do we get any comments from Sera or Cole or anybody over rogue specs?

Well, Solas' popularity definitely gives us a higher chance to get some acknowledgement of a romanced Solas in a possible future DLC. It's awesome!
