He talked to you about being a Rift Mage? He wouldn't say anything to my Lavellan about it... :c  I even went back to a save 20 hours prior and hunted down all of the tomes again just to see if it was because of the point I was at. Do you remember what the last main story quest was before becoming a Rift Mage?

 

There's a big thread in the feedback forum about a bug where party banter just doesn't play.

 

The more I hear about all this awesome banter I've been missing, the sadder I get.

Sorry, I just want to make so many parallels with Bigby from the Wolf Among Us.   I keep imagining Solas gaining back more of his power and being able to change into an enormous, powerful wolf just like that. And with three eyes, apparently. As much as I don't want him to be a villain, that would be one badass boss fight.

I might be remembering wrong, but in the novels Felessan always had his head covered, and could have possibly been bald as well. I am wondering if maybe that might be something of an ancient elf fashion.

On my issue with Solas' unavailable personal mission from yesterday:

I think it was low approval. I finished the game and in the end he gave me a very neutral response, something like "you've made mistakes, but mistakes happen."

 

So maybe my approval/diapproval level with him just kept flapping around the center of the bar.

I do wish they'd have made approval visible. I know they didn't want it to become a numbers game but with the system they have it was always going to be that way. Now instead of people min-maxing, you have people scratching their heads wondering if they even have enough.

He'd probably never let a romanced Lavellan sacrifice herself...but...my Quizzy would do it if she knows it will be for the greater good. She'd probably hesitate at first, though. She's a terribly broken person behind her sunshine smile at the end of the game, so...yeah. She would - but she would do anything to make sure that it is the only way first.

What level is the once at Crestwood? It took me about 4 times but I finally killed it being level 8. I have my own Dragon Killing squad which consists of mage or archer quizzy, Solas, Dorian, and Sera.

The Northern Hunter is level  13+

It's  Southeast..but I tried to go that far and there is this dungeon that's locked and I'm like how do I get past that thing...cause it's surrounded by rocks and the ocean.I don't know how to get there sadly at least not yet.

Yeah. He's trying to help the People and I've always thought my Quizzie was pretty on board with the "Elven Glory" bit. Even if she weren't in love with him she might do it.

 

But after trying to protect her I can't imagine he'd let her sacrifice herself. More likely he would do it a la romanced Alistair in DA:O

Maybe make it a difficulty thing. Play on easy and you get the bar, I suck too much to care abou tthe challenge regardless

Going to have to put this play through on hold though. Nutz. I ended up getting the voice-change bug, after recreating my Castor Hawke's face. Had a feeling I would, since I chose Sumalee's voice. Not willing to compromise on either - the voice change, or not making Castor's face as it should be.

Ahh well, it looks like Abel is up. My human male mage, who will hunker down with Dorian.

I've shelved my original Lavellanm, Gariel, because I realised I'd messed up the keep... I've created two new characters today a mLavellan 'Thron' (DW) , flavellan 'Sharawen' (mage) and am going to create a third 'Lyanna' fhuman mage.  Sharawen is going to be my canon but I'm not going to play her for a while,  will be concentrating on Thron and Lyanna, hopefully the bug will get fixed before I get to that bit,  It was the most off putting thing when Gariel suddenly became English!

I fear for my Lavellan quizzy if she gets no closure he's a 'god' ffs,  Nobody's going to top that she'd be destined to have to 'settle' so she may as well go out in a blaze of glory! 

Would be better if she chases him down though and he lets her join him

If you are talking about the dwarven cave on the Storm Coast, you have to open up the Red Templars on The Storm Coast mission on the war table before the door opens.

 

At the end is a boat, you select row boat and it takes you to dragon island. EEEEEEEE!
