Solas asks the Inquisitor if they notice the Anchor causing any sort of personality change in them if you befriend him. This makes much more sense after the Temple of Mythal. Perhaps he hoped that the Orb's power would bend Coryphaeus to Fen'Harrel's will, thus gaining a powerful tool and preventing the events of the game from happening?

Mythal seems to hint at the return of the Elven Pantheon and the Forgotten Ones to our plane of existence, possibly to continue the war that Fen'Harrel put an end to thousands of years ago. Solas seems more interested in helping the elves, even though he is very far away from being one himself.

What if Solas is actually who he claims to be backstory-wise? Perhaps he grew too confident in his power and his thirst for new places to explore in the Fade drew Fen'Harrel's attention which turned him into what he is now?

Oh there will be - lots and lots, but not too much  Poor Cullen is already pretty angsty himself, but add Solas to the mix and you've got a party

I'm going to attempt to write something later but I'm worried about Solas' dialogue, he has a very changeable personality (at least to me) and style of talking that's hard to recreate. Path of the Dreamwalker is great btw.

 

I feel like the easiest way to write Solas' dialogue is to extend phrases that normal people compress. Like, for instance instead of using isn't, do the longer verson of it is not. Basically making him sound "fancy" tends to display his intelligence and thoughtfullness in what he says well. Maybe because I've listened to him enough in game that its easier to emulate, but I suggest doing that. Just go in and talk to him and really pay attention to how he speaks and articulates his words.

I still haven't finished the game, I just got past the 'dance party' I wanted to say that I miss this thread really much, when I'll complete the game I will come back to read all the pages I missed ahah.

Solas is still my favourite companion, I'm scared to get to the ending though...
