The last painting looks like a giant wolf standing over a dead dragon with a sword through its neck. Nixes any Flemeth possession theories IMO. Solas must have sneaked into Skyhold to paint it in the middle of the night.

The conversations in here are fabulous. I just read through pages and pages of speculation and amassed a to-read list of fanfiction that will hopefully take the edge off of the bittersweet ending to come.

Whether or not we play as the Inquisitor again, the next game needs to explore Solas more. The writers teased us so much by turning Elvhen lore on its head. I'd love the game to go further in depth with all that's being established this time around.

Has anyone seen any party banters of people commenting on the relationship? I've only seen the one Cole says that you all have posted, and that one not even in-game. I enjoyed Zevran and Alistair's banters about the Warden being in a relationship with one of them, as well as Wynne's teasing of Alistair and Shale's perplexity. I miss that stuff.

I finally got the third scene. Levellan had cookies with Sera afterwards, it helped a little even if they were bad cookies. She needs a crazy roofclimbing, bad baker friend atm. I think I need cookies too.

I got a banter of Solas and Sera with a possibility to say something I failed to choose. Unfortunately, I also have banter bug so I think there should be other dialogues.

What I, personally, find the most interesting is that this mural is obviously just a sketch. Like he hastily painted it on the wall, before he left. You can see trails of the paint that ran down the wall, like he quickly mixed together the colours or used some leftovers so he could sketch that. Like I don't believe it depicts the final fight with Corypheus. For anybody not as close to him as Lavellan it might would, you could easily interpret it as the two dragons, and you killing the alleged "Archdemon". But I personally think, it was one last message to the Inquisitor, a hint he wishes them to decipher.
Of course it could just be the depiction of the last fight...and for all Inquisitors not in a relationship or friendship with Solas it might just be that. But I don't know. I just think its curious that it is just a sketch, and that it is so ambigious compared to the other murals.

And doesn't Solas speak to Cole after the Flemeth incident? Doesn't that debunk the Flemeth Possession thing? The dialogue was a bit strange "someone I once cared for" could indicate some change like a merger, or Solas could just be distancing himself. Either way based on what Cole said Solas has to be there in one way or another.

She mocked my Lavellan for her pain about the vallaslin then asked her to go pranking. What a bud.

I don't think the left figure is a dragon because its paws are definitely canine and it has a short neck (unlike the right figure). This painting appears after the credits and stinger too so the Flemeth/Solas scene was fresh in my mind. I think that was intentional.

Ah, I missed this thread during my forum blackout. It wasn't even a long blackout either   Reading all these things just makes me love Solas more. I never thought anyone would trump Zev and Alistair as my favourite DA characters. Ho ho~ I still adore Alistair though, I've just started a playthrough with a romanced Warden Alistair (fun times for me. Oh such fun...)

 

I have to say though, that there is one thing I really hate about Solas. Really. Hate.

He is getting along much better with my Sassquisitor than I thought. Rufio doesn't really get the whole spirit thing but he's willing to listen, because I'm never not going to RP someone who has no time to listen to Solas nerding out
