I had such a quiet time in mine as well. Woe. Hope they fix it soon. I've been avoiding listening to the banter vids because I want to experience it in game first. Adds to the replay value.
 
I know I said this here a lot before the game came out but, I loves you guys. I've been reading around the forum a bit, particularly regarding other romances and it makes me happy I started here. We got crushed and we didn't even get to see any butt cheeks. Yet this thread is full of loves and AWESOME NERDING OUT ON THEORIES. I can't believe the character I started out being least interested in when all this began, is the one that turned out perfect for me.

Oh, I'd like play in English, too, but the game is twice as expensive so I just listen more and read less. And there's the region lock problem as well.

Still, I think German translation is bound to be better than that we have

I have a question regardig a banter

the one with Solas and Cole after the break up, where Cole asks about why Solas turned away from Lavellan. Cole says Lavellan is "bare faced", what does he mean? The removed markings? Or something else? I found no satisfying translation and in german, they just used the next best word they could find, I suppose. Help?

I haven't heard that one. I'm betting it has a double meaning?

Greetings, all I've been a long time lurker to the Solas thread, and forums at large, and decided it was probably time I stopped creeping and introduce myself. Add one more casualty to the Solasmancer list, that Fade loving nerd crushed another Lavellan's (and the player's) heart, lol. Joking aside, however, this thread makes for some interesting reading and the atmosphere seems friendly.

I got curious and watched the last romance scene with german voices, and Solas doesn't fit at all

And female Quizzy has the worst deadpan voice lol, I'm really glad there's an option to play in english

So, I noticed at the end of the game, the inquisitor stands on the balcony with their romance for a final convo.

If no romance you are alone on the balcony. Same with a Solas romance. I thought it would be awesome if in a solasmance, while you're alone looking out a the sky a wolf howls in the background. How great would that be? Since he leaves no matter what, it gives us something. But...nope

FemQuizzy (young version) is the same voice actress who does the german voice for Ellen Page and some others. I kinda like her, and you get used to it rather quickly. German Solas voice is the voice actor who also provided the voice for Leonard Hofstadter in Big Bang Theory - and this was the reason why I really didn't want to romance Solas at frist.  I'm not a fan of the show or the char. But well, I couldn't resist the elf, and now it's normal for me.

Well, nothing I encountered so far could beat Russian voice acting in DAO and listening to it was like death (I was kinda curious and found some samples). They even didn't bother to cut out some outtakes the actors made.

And doesn't Solas speak to Cole after the Flemeth incident? Doesn't that debunk the Flemeth Possession thing? The dialogue was a bit strange "someone I once cared for" could indicate some change like a merger, or Solas could just be distancing himself. Either way based on what Cole said Solas has to be there in one way or another.

Lucky folks. I like Alix Wilton Regan's work a lot but do wish we had a Welsh VA for the Dalish.

All that gender changes, cursing dwarves, doubled lines... and frustrated actors, yeah So nostalgic. Though, it's good that DAI version has no voiceover and has original dialogue pack included.
