I might be late but does anyone else think that Solas might have been Felassan's boss and killer?
I think it was Flemeth.
When I first beat the game, I would have said yes. After hearing some other people's thoughts and considering it myself...I'm not sure. He could be, but it doesn't quite fit with what we know of Solas. His feelings towards Briala don't seem to fit either.
My personal thought is that Solas might not be the only entity trying to hunt down ancient elven things.
Good points. Though i still doubt it's Fen'harel since i figured that an ancient entity with over two milennia of accumulated knowledge should of had little issues in regaining or recreating an Eluvian activation orb.

I gave up and rerolled an elven mage instead... but I really want to romance Cullen this time...Although I`ve already flirted with Solas again....waaaah

I think it will be easier for some people if they played a Human female when romancing Cullen otherwise Solas will be hard to resist. 
Also it's so cool how every time I come back on here there are over 100 comments to read.

Just popping in as a long time lurker who avoided any romance in the first playthrough (not usually my thing). Early on I realised this grave mistake, powered through the rest of the game and am now doing the second playthrough properly with Solas. I'm not sure if knowing what's coming is going to make it better or worse but WHAT ARE THESE FEELINGS PLEASE HELP.
Before I finished my first play-through, all I wanted was to start my second game file and romance Cullen, or Josephine. Or make a male and romance Dorian.
But no.
Now all I can think of is making another fem Levallan and having the exact same romance all over again.

So I've been looking in the character creator thread...
Oh and ahhh ty Renmiri1! 
Well, I gave in and did the What Pride Has Wrought quest just so I could see the rest of the story. I'll go back to my save before then to finish off the areas I haven't touched yet. I just had to know already. Now it's off to the final mission.
But... so far? Wow. Didn't expect some of that. It's hard to wrap my head around how parts of the story would be if I were playing something other than an elf. I had plans for a human and a qunari, and it's going to be hard. Anyone played other than an elf and have an opinion on how things are? Very different, or still more or less the same?

I started a male human. Wanted to romance Dorian but Cass is approving of everything he's said, so far. It's funny. He's a two handed warrior and Solas says something about him being powerful on the battlefield and that the muscles are a side benefit and I'm all like ARE YOU STILL FLIRTING WITH ME SOLAS?!
I really want to try a human run, just once. Humans have always been my least favorite race to play in Dragon Age, with the exception of Amell from Origins who was my canon warden. Though, if only because I could never finish a City Elf playthrough I liked to carry on like that, though it and the Dwarf Noble Origins were my favorites. So either once the patch hits or my guide gets here, one or the other, I'll be trying to get through with my human rogue run. After that? Elves all the way, and perhaps one dwarf eventually just for the luls as I throw them at Iron Bull.
Elves are just... Way too much fun in these games, especially with all new that we learn in this particular installment. That and a certain scruffy hedge mage who has made it near impossible not to flirt with him...

I haven't gotten any flirt options with him yet as a human, dwarf, qunari, or male elf--so I'm assuming the answer is no. c:
