My first Origins playthrough was a Dalish but instead Cousland ended up being my canon. It took 2 games to get me here, but I finally have my canon Dalish hero. It's hard to think of playing anything different now.

I think those are the mosaics in the Temple of Mythal.
And I think that perhaps they are all shapeshifters. Flemeth taught Morrigan how to shapeshift, and Morrigan says that it is extremely old magic. Since Flemeth seems to like that dragon shape, perhaps these are the shapes that they prefer to shift into?

Would make sense, how often do we see the gods as human humanoid. Though I think the old dragon gods and elf gods are the same, so they could all be dragons.

Ahhhh, that's right. I sort of rushed through to see Solas's last romance scene and then went back to an earlier save.
Hard to say, since we don't know for sure where they originated from. [IE; whether they were born elves who obtained vast amounts of power, or were some form of other creation that took elven form to govern over them.]
There's also the possibility that the legend of the gods preexists Solas and his peers. And they simply adopted the personas to gain power over the people.

This is driving me bananas and I'm kinda hoping I'm not alone in this.
But it seems like over half the time I walk into Solas's room, he's leaning over his table with his back to me.
And the incredible urge to sneak up (rogues, FTW!) and goose him from behind is overwhelming.
Like, seriously. Where is my "goose him" button, dammit!

Could be that the first form they learn is the one they're most connected to or they have one mythical form which reflects their nature best and they learn others by studying the creature like Flemeth teaches Morrigan.

I was laughing SO much when I first got that scene. So dramatic!
It's little touches like that to add character to the companions that I think the DA team did spectacularly on this time around. They all had a little, human quirk to them.
Anyone think that Solas looks like Voldemort but with a nose? haha
I don't think he does. There's no option for a M!Lavellan to have them removed (they do not get the romance scene), and I don't think they have any other dialogue about it.

By the way can anyone explain to me who Felassan is?? Everyone I speak to about DA and Solas keep bringing this name up. I know he is an elf in the masked empire but what does he have to do with Solas? That or I'm super blonde. Solas, Felassan, Fen'Heral jesus my head! Haha
I'm finally doing What Pride Had Wrought after putting it off for so long and I find it weird that I'm asking Morrigan questions about tales of Mythal and acting like I don't know the stories of the elven gods. Did that happen to all of you too? I hope it's not a bug or something.

No, this really bothered me as well. :S My Inquisitor asked Morrigan if she thought "this Mythal" could be alive/around, which I thought was really weird. Especially since she's apparently got Mythal's tattoos on her face...
Also, Abelas called her "shemlen" and I still don't know if he was trying to insult her or if the game got confused. >_>
