HO.LY. CR.AP. I cannot deal with that ending at all. He said his feelings were real and turned around and left! And the stinger was... I... I don't even know. I'm at a loss of words. What the heck did I just watch?! I mean: I understand what happened, or I have an idea of what might have happened there, but seriously; I can't wrap my head around it. He is so... It is so... ARGH!!!

 

Someone help me!!! :'(

Sorry about the spoiler tag. I find it makes it harder to follow with every post being (spoilers) answering to (spoilers) but ill try to use them. Are any story related convos about Solas and elves needing them ?

So would we be wrong to think that Andraste's Herald is really Fen'Harel's Herald ? Maybe in a hundred years she could be the stuff of legends. A tragic legend that is. About a mortal who restored order in Thedas and fell in love with a 'god', showing him that his people were worth saving. After all, he does say at the end that the People need him. (he says in every playthrough but it makes much more sense with Lavellan, or at least gives it a more positive vibe)

What I wonder is if he means the elves of Thedas as they are, or his "People" that are locked away. If he still doesn't care for or have much in common with the current elves, why would he give a damn about helping? If he says that regardless of inquisitor race or romance, it's certainly not going to be because he found something rare in Lavellan and wants to believe there are more like her.

 

Oh, and I've seen different versions of his tarot cards. Are they different based on friendship/romance?

There is a point where you really have to wonder why nobody started asking questions about Solas:

I think it will be easier for some people if they played a Human female when romancing Cullen otherwise Solas will be hard to resist.

I made a human once....but then I switched back to elf because I didn't like her face... next thing I know, I'm fade-snogging Solas again

I think I looted that particular armor from a locked room in Chateau d'Onterre in the Emerald Graves. Not sure if it's a random item, but he does look damn fine in it.

 

What I want to know is where the heck do you find different beds and drapes? I know my Lavellan had bigger things to worry about, but come on. Drapes. Castles are drafty! And it could use a splash of color.

 - Is there ANYTHING you can find / hear about him after he goes away? Leliana said that if he doesn't want to be found, it would be hard to do so, I know that. Anything else?

 - So, I had Kieran with the old god soul in my game. Flemythal absorbed it. Solas absorbed (?) her. Does that mean that Urthemiel, Mythal, Fen'Harel and maybe even Flemeth and Solas original versions are all cramped in there now?! 

 - Mythal should be angry as heck because Fen'Harel locked them all away, but she's just sad?

 - Do you think Lavellan's stubborn/determined face expression on the balcony was because she decided to go after him? (Okay, yes, I really hope for a witch hunt kind of dlc.)

- He has three cards total. His regular one, the giant wolf one that you can get if you fail his personal quest, and the final one (and my favorite) that you get after the third romance scene (or at least that's when I unlocked it)

 

- There are a few things. Codex entries are updated, and you should go talk to Cole (and maybe read some fanfiction)

 

- Maybe? It depends on what actually happened to Flemeth. Many here have mentioned she might have a horcrux somewhere (as she did in DA:2) and that it might just have been that body that died. We really don't know. I did read somewhere that unlike the other souls/spirits, Old God souls live in tandem. So Flemeth/Mythal is really "one person" with one spirit, but Kieran would have had two separate spirits. This might explain why it was relatively easy to remove the OGS and not so easy to separate Anders from Justice/Vengeance in DA2.

 

- From what Abalas says, I think Mythal was murdered before Solas did whatever he did to the other creators.

 

I'm pretty sure we'll see Solas again sooner rather than later. That coda was pretty killer

There are three that I've found. One is the High Keeper's Robes that can be bought at the Dalish merchant. One can be found in one of the elven ruins (though I cannot remember which one), and I think the last one may be random loot or found in another elven ruin somewhere...

Oh boy, looking at my old screenshots reminded me that my biggest fear about Solas was that he would somehow be made Tranquil. Ever since I learned about his love of the Fade, I just kept wondering if it would happen somewhere in the story if things went really wrong. I thought that was how Bioware/PW was going to break my heart... *sobbing laughter*

Which leads me to question: Could Solas even be made Tranquil, considering his... unique circumstances? Would the Rite of Tranquility even work on him?

I would say no. Even if Solas is just an immortal elf, his grasp of magic likely far exceeds anyone who would attempt to make him tranquil. But he did lose his orb, so who knows? He might not even be immortal anymore.

 

If he's a god spirit/wolf thing, I doubt it would work either.

DA:4 is 1000 in the future and we hear tavern songs about the Dread Wolf and Little Red Riding Lavellan running off happily after they make everything sing the same or whatever his plan is
