Still Solas asks what am I going to do with the power of the well. I dont possess it so why ask?

Well Morrigan is still part of the Inquisition.  I am sure the Inquisitor has some say in how Morrigan will use the Well's power much in the same way you decide how to use Cullen's soldiers, or Leliana's spies.  That was how I saw it anyways.  I could be making an assumption and it's an oversight like the begging thing.

You're not bothering at all.    A lot of us are worried that's going to happen. There's some unfortunate foreshadowing in that direction.

Morrigan pledges to use the knowledge in your service. She's still your arcane advisor. So he wants to know how you plan to use her, even if indirectly, I guess. I agree that dialog sounds better if you actually chose to drink from the well though.

Am I the only one that thinks Solas is 100% more beautiful when you actually see him move? There exist characters in video games that only look great in screenshots or artwork, and then there are those that look quite weird in some artworks and screenshots, but they are just so darn beautiful when you can see their animations. I think Solas is one of the latter, to be honest.

 

ya they did a really good job! I remember i was really taken aback with his animation, like in the first romance scene with him. I got really used to his arms being at his sides xD

My mage, before she became a Knight Enchanter, used to stand alongside Solas to cast spells.  He makes little noises of effort when he fights, which are kinda cute.

 

And also, they make me think of what sex noises he would make.

Can someone confirm that missing/completing Solas' third quest doesn't affect the romance in any way?

 

It doesn't seem to.  (That's the 'measuring the veil', or subsequent followup, right?)  I was bugged too, but as long as you've cleared All Faded, you should be fine.

Despite all the consequences being told etc..plus extra dialogue from arcane perk stating its bad i.e a gaes. I feel the game almost wants you to drink it. I wonder if it also confers immortality other than knowledge

Just happened to me ingame while exploring dwarven ruins in the desert:

 

Cassandra: "Is that perfume?"

Solas: "You must be....*sniffs the air* ....strange.....the trees, perhaps?"

 

Suuuure. Must have clung to the pajamas after the last makeout session.

 

Nice save, Solas. I don't think anyone suspects anything. 

 

Haven't heard of this dialogue before! Best location to have it in though.

So after watching those clips with Abelas again (and again, no problems here, nope), I think I've figured out that his VA is Mark Bazely.  He was also the guard captain in Denerim, the guard captain in the Gallows when you first get to Kirkwall (I think), Solivitus, and... my favorite, the Sith Warrior in SWTOR.

 

No wonder I'm still swooning.

I had Solas in those red Keeper robes for most of the game.    But I like him best in the battlemage mail (his iconic fluffy outfit), except I've never found any schematics for it anywhere.    I just ended up buying the expensive set in Val Royeaux (I started thinking of VR as "The Mall" lol).  My Lavellan mostly wore the High Keeper robes you can buy from the Dalish shop (it's got like purple-pink pauldrons and armor bits), until I crafted a really fancy gold and white version of the Keeper robes for her.  And used Tyrdda's staff the entire game...  It's so pretty.  Good thing it was one of the high level staves.

This reminds me in Da:o and DA 2 your LI would be trying to "protect" you during combat. I didnt get that feeling in DA:I or maybe I didnt notice.

At the end I've noticed that Solas was giving my Lavelann barrier whenever there was an option. Poor Cass, she died several times to one dragon xD

Thinking about it now I want to cry inside.

 

I...can't see him being a full villain for everyone's playthrough though. I think if he comes back with a plan, you'll get a players pretty split on people who will see him as a villain and want to go against him, versus people who respect/romance him and can be talked into helping him.

 

I'm hoping this will all be through DLC/exmpanions for DA:I, because I just don't see them being able to maintain an epic storyline just of Solas trying to complete his plans. It would be much more interesting, in my opinion, for Solas to complete his plans, no matter what, in DLC, and then DA4 would be a new protagonist having to deal with the fallout of his plans - in which case, I think the other elven "gods" would be the main "villain."

 

I also think it would be very interesting (if my theory comes true), for Inquisitors who sides with Solas to be considered as much a villain as him, in DA4.

His voice is swoon worthy. Though, most people's voices are swoon worthy in this game. It's like smut for the ears. Speaking of smut, I'm still waiting for Abelas smut to happen. When will it happen. Will it happen. Please.
