Frankly, I doubt that. Look at the fresco, the city there clearly consists of two images, they are mirroved, I believe it symbolises dual nature of the Black City.

 

 

 

Looks like a Space Ship to me.

Maybe the city was a space ship. It was Golden while it still had power but once that failed all the lights went out and it turned black.?

A humble offering to the hardcore theorycrafters. These are screenshots from the multiplayer maps and as such might not mean anything, but I'll leave these here anyway for your enjoyment. Unfortunately these were taken from ongoing matches so I couldn't stay put for long. I'll take more screenshots when I come across something interesting - and am not being murdered by the enemy faction.

I think it looks like the description of the layers of the earth from my textbook back in school. 

Seems to be a lot of walls to knock down to reach the center... 

Which one is we (the IQ) in I wonder?

I know they re-use assets, so I'm not sure it has any significance or not.

 

I've decided that the Watcher is Dirthamen, since Flemythal created a Fade spot that has blood pouring from his face so I'm guessing he participated in her murder and she's planning to return the favor. He along with Falon'din is my best guess for who was stalking Felassan.

 

The only thing that makes me pause is the waterfalls in those caves being named Wolf Falls.

Edit: Well, it does in some cases, we're not quite sure what those are, but if you have a PT where you haven't found 10 artifacts yet you should be good.

T'would be funny to find out, that the Fade is simply inside the nucleo terrestre. Otherwise it makes theory about Arlathan, Black City's twin, buried somewhere underneath, completely believable.

...I've pretty much decided that 99% of all songs ever written can somehow go along with Solasmance. Because every song I hear makes me go, awww Solas...

I must be the only one then who doesn't have a single fitting song in their music library... ok, I do have Florence And The Machine. But her stuff has been linked already. I went through all my albums looking for a cool song, but nope. Half of my music is instrumental anyway. And the rest is rather upbeat. I don't like sad songs. Except for Emily Jane White *dreamy face*

From what Solas tells us, Falon'Din at least has a rather malevolent streak; treason wouldn't be beneath him. On the other hand, he's a high and mighty elf god, why would he need the help of some lowly humans, ew.
