In another banter with Sera, he says, "Din elvhen emma him?"

Din-"not isn't"; also used to indicate someone who has died: someone who is not (I think in this context, we can assume it means "dead")

elvhen-elves

emma-I am

him-becomes

So he's saying, "I am becoming dead elves?" Was this already talked about and explained?

I was looking at these item packs, yeah. Why do you think they're worth buying?

Items that level up with your character.  And some of the mage gear is better looking than the standard robes.  Well, the items that level up are usually just the weapons/shields/accessories.  Actual armor does not level up.  And I think most of the accessories are companion restricted.

If I recall correctly, Hawke will get a weapon from Legacy that levels up with him/her but only to a certain point?  So I generally hit Legacy last ooooor just cheated my way to level 50.  =p

Though honestly if I didn't already have them I'm not sure I'd get them now.  But they're not very expensive.  And if you have extra Bioware points, might as well use them.

What's the rest of the banter?

Cheat Engine is a such a freaking pain though.  I don't understand why they don't allow us to dupe in this game.  You can't carry ANYTHING over to MP.

EDIT: OMG I JUST SAW Abelas/Fenris picture.  I didn't know I needed it.  But I need it so bad.  Omg...

I LEAVE FEN-HAWKE in THE FADE.  Tallis is the worst and you're the worst for killing Dalish/Krem - *storms off in a cloud of glitter*

HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO FENRIS MY BABY THE PUPPY EYES FULL OF TEARS OMG NOW IM THIBKIBG ABOUT THAT ONE COMIC AND IM CRYING OMG FENRIS I LOVE YOUUUUUUU

The chargers are expendable. I'd rather have the whole Ben Hassrath at my fingertips than a bunch of misfit mercenaries. But that's because they kinda creeped me out. Felt sorry for Bull but that's about it.

Fenris I love you...

I don't think Solas ever swears except in elven, which is a shame. Compared to Mass Effect the Dragon Age franchise is pretty tame on language. But I would be so turned on hearing Solas's voice growl actual curse words.

He calls Blackwall "ass" when asked about fade sex with spirits. :)

Solas: Our people used to be here.
Sera: Pfft, you say that everywhere.
Solas: It is more true than you want to believe.
Sera: I bet, right? Who wants to think about stepping on dead elves.
Solas: Din elvhen emma him?
Sera: Oh, you felt that one.

It could be "My people are dead." or "I am dying" in a "my kind is dying" kind of way.

I am shocked that the forum is not in uproar over the lack of Black Emporium. Isn't this one of those things that drives the general threads mad? Where are the i hate bioware threads and bioware lied threads.

I am disappoint.

I guess everyone's used to disappoint by now, lol. That or they're relieved that Bioware didn't roll them some half assed glitchy ******** for once.

I save the Chargers because, let's face it ... alliance or not, the Qun is not your friend.  They WILL convert you if they can (by persuasion, drug induced re-educating or mindwiping you into a slave) or kill you if they can't.  And if you're a mage Inquisitor?  Yeah the Qun has really strong feelings about mages.  I'm personally convinced the only reason mage-Hawke doesn't get attacked by the Qunari when talking to the Arishok is because plot shield.

Also, you get intelligence reports.  Leliana is pretty good at her job.  Do you *really* need those intelligence reports?  You don't get troops or supplies.  Yeah, the Qunari will block any red lyrium shipments they can but they were going to do that anyway.

Yeah, I know, but there he just sounds exasperated. I want him to tell someone "f*** you" in that dangerous Solas growl. And then I want to have Lavellan jump him.

I felt briefly proud of Falon'Din. PROUD.

I had a brief flash of sanity, realizing  that, yes, Giton, that is weird. I have gone over the event horizon. There is no turning back.

Now, I think I am ok with that. (Brief flash was brief)

So, good talk.

And I'm out of likes once more. LIKE.

I think it's sort of bitterness about sera when he says 'my kind is dying'. since he always talks about how apart from a True elf she really is.

I feel the need to actually *gasp* defend BioWare somewhat.  This game may be glitchy but I, personally, have not encountered any game breaking bugs.  However, I think I was also simply lucky in not encountering any quest breaking bugs as well.  I understand there were war table missions that were bugged and did not pop up but since they never appeared I didn't even know about them heh.  I didn't even know about Measuring the Veil until I came to this thread.

Not saying they shouldn't do a better job at not releasing bugs to begin with.  But this game is nowhere near as bad as Oblivion, Fallout 3 or Skyrim were for me.  Ugh Skyrim.  Enjoyed the game to a certain extent but I was forced to use cheats to get past bugs.

That's one of the reasons I got it so my Fem hawke would look good....and the weapons are very good. It doesn't cost much which is good also I had to change a bit on my last post there are a couple of outfits you can't wear until later in game but it's worth it.(well to me) Two armor sets for low level and high level.

It's the words to describe the junk that get me . . . I feel tooo cheesy writing euphemisms, but then calling a spade a spade comes off as clinical and jarring.

Falon's Din is my favorite euphemism.

Girthamen came to mind as well.

But the possibilities. Example (NSFW, do not read unless you get a kick out of the perverse):

Skyrim and all those at least have unofficial patches made by users that fix the game more or less and makes it run better than majority of other games, even on console. Bioware doesn't have anything like that, I guess because they made it too annoying for people to try. Bethesda was smart enough to allow vast modding capability.

Meanwhile, I spent days, weeks originally trying to figure out why Dragon Age kept crashing on my brand new 1k 300 dollar gaming pc, and it turns out it was a simple issue of their settings conflicting with my computer's graphics settings. Something that is easily testable for, if they took the time to properly do so, which I highly doubt. Skyrim had its issues, but the worst they had was with DLC not working for PS3 very well, and it took quite some time for them to get it. And it ran on the system rather poorly. Other than that, it ran fine more or less for PC and Xbox, same for Oblivion and Fallout 3. Better than DA I anyway. I sifted through the complaints for this game on this site and off, Bethesda never had nearly as big an uproar over the quality of their game. The core game.

I will not defend them on this. Not after this bull ****:

But I will say at least they're getting their **** together now.

edit: LOL "Even on console". What was I thinking when I said this. It's a sad day when a game is expected to work better on consoles than PC. (DA I) Of course Skyrim works better on PC.

Talking about bugs, once I walked into the Rotunda, but the PC wasn't finished loading the game, and there was no floor on the Rotunda, so I fell through, onto Skyhold basement, mostly completely deserted if it wasn't for that peculiar thing, that started playing a very soothing music when I went near it.

I know it's more of an easter egg than a bug, but sometimes I think of this music-playing classy pie, and I have feelings for it. I want to take it from the basements and put it on my throne, it's too cute to be hidden where nobody ever goes.
