There really wasn't much worth catching up on, bud
I'd skim for art and leave it at that, save yourself some time.

This makes me both very uncomfortable and very happy. You're awesome.
Bunquisitor's break up scene went differently than most.
Wow. Solas owns one hell of a vibrator.
Made. my. day.
The new one, not the last. And it's so very young yet, the rest of it can hardly rise above this.
Oh, wait... do I have to leave, too, if I'm not into prony Solas? O_o
So I totally read that as brony Solas at a glance, and had this overwhelming terror grip me at the idea of Solas as a Brony. Solas, nnnooooooo!
(Yes, you have to leave. Just kidding, please stay. I enjoy your caustic wit.)

My sister finished the game a week before me and she got so shocked when she saw the stinger. (She told me she actually yelled out, "WHAAAT?!" much to the surprise of her husband.
) She knew I was romancing Solas so after she ended the game, she kept messaging me on Facebook to hurry up and end the game already because she wanted to see my reaction to the ending. That time, I knew there was something in the ending that surprised her, but I never figured out that it had something to with Solas being Fen'Harel.
When I finally ended the game and saw the epilogue, I sent her a Facebook message with me acting all shocked, crying, and bewildered; and with her replying back to me, "SURPRISE!!!". xD
I wish I could bond like this over video games with my sister, but I don't think she's played a single one in her life. It blows my mind. But I feel like if I could just get her over the mental block of "video games are for kids", she'd probably really enjoy something like Inquisition.
Someone give me pro tips for convincing my entire social circle to play Inquisition so I can have people offline to chat about this stuff to as well. I have like, two friends who've played it, and I no longer live in the same city as them. Boo, hiss. This is part of why I'm forcing my husband to play it. Like, I've literally negotiated a weekly Dragon Age gaming requirement.
Don't judge.

This is true.
And I don't blame him, I took a break then too
Though mainly I was busy writing.
The various sub-sections of my family celebrate birthdays in various ways, so I've spent the past four days being shuttled from one house to the other and enduring many puns. None of them involved access to my computer. ![]()

Me: DID YOU FINISH THE GAME?!
Him: Nah, not yet
... *a few days pass* ...
Me: DID YOU FINISH THE GAME?!
Him: Oh, yeah I finished it.
Me: SOLAS IS FEN'HAREL!!!!
Him: Yeah, I don't follow the lore, I don't know who that is.
Me: *head explodes* ... *facepalm*
I had the exact reaction with my partner, mind you. When I finished my first playthrough, I asked him every night why he was playing that uninteresting game he would play every day, instead of finishing his DA:I playthrough so that we could talk about it. It was hell for me to hold my tongue, and he managed to get enough hints from me about Solas that two weeks later, when he finally finished his playthrough (and me my second one), he wasn't too shocked about the revelation, but we still spent the entire day ( and some days after that, but not as much) making theories and trying to see what that revelation might entail. And of course, he loves Solas a lot, hence why it was even more interesting.
Had I known, I would have registered to this forum earlier and spam in it instead of bugging the poor soul about finishing his playthrough.

Yeah the BE will most likely a DLC that will come later this year.. If you checked under Origin a few days ago, under DAI > addons and downloads, there was a placeholder for the BE.. so it looks like that's where it will go when it will be released as DLC ![]()
They seem to have removed it since then, but the damage has been done.. People have seen it ![]()

As much as I love Creative Assembly and Paradox Interactive, their sheer amount of DLC and the price (though they have been known to give out good enough deals that I don't feel too sore about it) have made me laugh at the people accusing Bioware of money-grubbing. Barely a week since the game came out, and Attila already has two DLC's, both culture packs, which basically unlock certain factions in the game and give them new abilities. This is one of the most common mod types, and the existence of the DLC makes it illegal for the modders to unlock those particular factions. I even lost a campaign or two with mods back in Rome II because they decided to release that faction for the public with half of the units that my modded version had. ![]()
(Okay I'm a bit sore.
)
Regardless, I'd much rather the Black Emporium be part of the vanilla game.
I'm excited for PAX East next week in the dim hope that it will have something, anything, on DA DLC and/or MENext. I'm a fisstech addict waiting in line at the gates of Vizima, I tell you!

I just replayed the Winter Palace with Solas as my Lavellan's romance for the first time since November (my first playthrough).
I like what Solas said to her after she allowed Celene die to give Briala power behind Gaspard (and this is my first time allowing the assassination happen). My Lavellan was feeling guilty, but there Solas was, being honest yet still comforting to her. He of all people would sympathize with having to take regrettable actions to achieve the world one desires.
Lavellan: I don't know if I did the right thing, letting the Empress die.
Solas: Sometimes sacrifices must be made. Nothing is ever won without something else being lost. Remember the lesson, but do not dwell on it. You didn't invent war.
He put a smile on her face just by being there for her, at least:

This has nothing to do with the content of your post. I just wanted to say that the Halamshiral recolor mods are getting much improved over the first couple released. It's amazing how the look of the clothing changes with just some recoloring so it's not all primary colors.
That being said, I'm also digging the Invisible Halamshiral clothing for the Inquisitor. The elf armors look elegant enough to fit in there.

Nothing negative, really. You're a shiny diamond in glittering stardust yourself. That's why we've accepted you into the Geth consensus.
And you wouldn't happen to care for some mail order glitter? In your case it might work as a genuine gift.

Ha ha, I keep threatening to buy Inquisition for my husband too. He tends to have a short attention span for games though, so it might be more torture than fun. I did manage to get him hooked on Jim Butcher's Dresden Files series however, so yay for small victories in the fantasy genre. ![]()
Any interesting theories in the last 100 pages or so? I've finally declared defeat in catching up, this thread just moves too fast!
