I love being able to finally understand Mass Effect references  just bought the series a while back to tide me over until the Wolf Hunt DLC comes out (AND IT WILL COME OUT). So sorry my sweet Solas, but I'm afraid my heart has been stolen by that turian stud Garrus for the time being

It's okay.  Sometimes great art can take a while to get.  You could look at that picture every day for a year and see something new in it each time.

 

I have the DLC, but I've not played much of it yet.

I feel like the internet would take very close second place to the Fade as Solas' Favourite Thing. When he wasn't sleeping and hangin' in the Fade, he'd be browsing everything on the internet ever, no matter how lighthearted or utterly sordid, just absorbing every single bit of information and making active judgments on everything he saw, all wired on Mountain Dew. Kinda... like that photoshopped pic Carrieli (I think?) made. But with less MMORPGs. And maybe a lower BMI.

It does gives you some information regarding the Eluvian network and some bits on the process of Uthenera. And it also gives you insight on how the city elves (of Orlais, at least) view the Dalish.

 

I got to wondering the other day how Solas approached the various clans that rejected him.  This was the result.  I'm now wishing I'd have worked Oghren in there somewhere, lurking in the shrubbery.

We need Capricorn with the 'WHAT UP NERDS UR ALL WRONG' picture.

Garrus Vakarian is Best Digital Boyfriend.  Bar none.  Though he does have the rather unfair advantage of three games.  So for me that was three in-game years, 5 IRL years, and close to 150 hours of screentime per playthrough.

I played the series after all of the games were out so it was just a couple of months. Yet, to me, anyone but Liara just feels utterly wrong. I'm often ruined for other choices by whoever I pick on my first run just because I always choose whoever I'm most drawn to anyway.

 

But I did really like the consistency of having that central PC and same LI the whole way through. I do adore Garrus, though.

Now I'm just picturing myself buying all these Solas shirts, body pillows, Solas tea, and having them arrive on my doorstep. My family would then be wondering why the hell I'm buying things with pictures of a bald man with pointed ears. xD

 

(Then I'll just tell them, "He's my video game elf boyfriend who broke up with me and left me in a hellspiral and now I buy things that have his face to cope with the heartbreak.")

 

God, I scare myself sometimes...

I'm the same way with regards to LIs both in the ME series and the DA series. I would like to do an Origins replay as a Dalish Warden who romances Leliana  sometime though, but it would just be a side thing. My only full playthrough was my Cousland one and I was so thorough that it was enough. I was completely satisfied.
