The lack of DLC anything is a bit frustrating. It's true that they don't owe us anything, but FFS. Surely there has to be more to the story than what we got with all that epic world building they did.

 

I just wish we could know that they are working on something for sure. I wonder what they mean by the whole "can't say anything for legal reasons" thing. Is that because they announced an expansion at one point that ended up canceled, or what?

I really want some answers on these topics. I really want to know waht the deal was/is with elves being immortal/mortal because I kind of doubt it had anything to do with being near humans. I have the itchin' suspicion it has to do with something else.

 

I have no doubt we're not done getting things we think we know or have been told flipped yet again.

Considering he's a recovering drug addict and had Meredith as a boss, Cullen looks fine.   

I see Solas as looking like healthy living 40ish elf as well.

 

Cullen also got hit with the hot stick between games.
This is the best he has ever looked.

 

 

People who are 40 don't look weathered and gray and old unless they've been living a really hard life or had a truly unlucky roll of the genetic dice. Mostly you can just tell someone looks matured, as in, not 20something. In my experience, it's only as you creep up towards 50+ that the age thing really becomes apparent. So yes, I can easily believe Solas is in his 40s as far as appearance is concerned.

 

And well... elvhen genes might mean you look good for centuries, whereas Cullen has another 15 years or so to really rock the good looks of virile youth.

 

it's kind of interesting how people perceive age, which is in part fueled by media and presumptions and all sorts of other things. "40" genuinely sounds like it should be weathered and gray to some people. Even years ago when 30 sounded like it was forever in the future...attitudes always made it sound like you would just change SO much but after reaching 30 and realizing that, aside from actually learning how to put myself together at some point, I....haven't much. Some of my friends have so it really can vary, but to me, back to the actual topic, Solas definitely looks like he has lived some but obviously nowhere near his real age. But I did totally see him as an older man for my Lavellan (I wanted her to be seasoned and have earned her trip to the Conclave so I have her around 31 at the start) and it's amusing to me since I'm usually not interested in older men ("older" ha)  like that.
