Oh my gosh I remember that era. I toiled over and then posted a smut story on there when I was but a wee one....good times. xD

 

And if you've formed enough of a relationship that people also offer constructive criticism, that's even better.

DA has a request feedback feature that some might find useful. But the thing with open world critiques mean that you're going to get people who don't know how to critique. The 'this is bad ugh blah' comments or the 'this is great!' comments thrive, and people will think it's feedback... but it's not. It's not constructive. It can honestly be a chore to find constructive commentary, so if you're willing to ask for it and there are people here willing to give it, that's awesome and probably much more prone to growth. This is a good community. So don't be afraid to ask for criticism and if asked, please don't hesitate to give it.

Though I'll be honest, if someone else posts nsfw art in the future and manages to stay under the mod's radar, I'll be a little bit salty.

 

 

Uuh, well I do reblog a lot of the smut on my Tumblr blog (under the nsfw tag). I know some people here do follow me on Tumblr so they've pretty much more or less seen them.

I know! I think you're targeted. Or I think there is one (more?) people on the thread who are intolerant of such things. Or maybe even salty because they got banned for it once upon a time. Who knows? If you want to share the NSFW stuff, just say it's on your tumblr (don't give a specific link to the post). That might work.

"Solas greatly disapproves" is basically the modus operandi of this thread, nine times out of ten, isn't it?

 

I'm pretty sure if we compile all 5.3k pages into a trash compactor we'd have enough material for a very compelling rivalmance. It'd be a 100% certified beautiful trash, completely embarrassing, involve liberal useage of the phrase 'vhenan plz', and its centrepiece would be glorious shots of elven butt. Its primary asset, if you would.

5. How's the pacing? Is the story going too fast? Too slow? Just right?

 

6. Any comments about the writer's style? Is it poetic, easy-going, dramatic?

 

This is just something to get people started. Feel free to add or remove things from the list.

 

So let's try an experiment: Next time you post a fic, add a note at the end that you welcome feedback, and paste these question prompts (or the edited version of them). See if this helps us give and receive more feedback within our little community.

What is up with Within Temptation and the fact that so many of their songs seem to be connected to Solas? I re-listened to one of my favorite tracks from their latest album Hydra, and just look at the lyrics! It feels like it could have easily been Solas personal soundtrack!
