But seriously, they wouldn't expect our new protagonist to fight our LI from DAI... That would be beyond cruel. And thoroughly unsatisfying. Trespasser gave the Inquisitor an option to redeem him - they should follow through on that.

 

But ok, to answer the question, I think nothing short of a final love scene with our Lavellan in cameo would be satisfying

Until you remember that the Dovahkiin probably won't return in TES6 either, because Hermaeus Mora wants them to replace Miraak. The most we'll probably get is a brief cameo in a Daedric Prince quest, like the Hero of Kvatch did when they appeared as the new incarnation of Sheogorath in Skyrim.

 

At least Inquisition nerfed the protagonist at the end of Trespasser, rather than leaving them at God-tier power like in Oblivion and Skyrim. Makes me wonder if TES fans complain about either of them not returning as much as people do with the Warden?

I don't believe that. Service to Daedric princes usually comes from striking a deal, which you haven't. They don't just decide someone is their servant and that's the end of it.

Besides, when you return from battle Freya advises you not to follow that path, which means there still is choice.

Yea I try my best to make them good and I am all about timing and sometimes I've seen that I don't make it like perfect and it bothers me. My video editor sometimes doesn't want to work with me and when I save the videos sth weird happens haha XD I loved making take me to church. I was thinking if I should make like the full song edition cause that song is perfect for them

Skyrim didn't leave us with major unfinished business the way DAI did, so I'm perfectly happy to headcanon my Dovahkiin wandering around Tamriel in semi-retirement with her Altmer lover. The Inquisitor, though, she still has Solas to deal with... And nerfing the Inquisitor, well, she's not dead, is she?

I don't know if you really made me happy as the whole Solas thing is sad. Maybe sad-happy or...happy-sad? Haha just kidding of course. It certainly made me happy that your videos captured so much of all the feelings that involve romancing Solas.

Yassss! I didn't cry either the first time because I already knew he was leaving since his romance was in my second playthrough. But I did play Trespasser for the first time with my Solasmancer. I can't even begin to tell you how sweaty my hands got when that music started playing. And then at the end I wiped away a tear or two. Good thing I was alone, in the middle of the night, as my bf would've surely looked at me like I was crazy. He doesn't get romances in-game, let alone one that actually moved me irl haha.
