Wow. So Solas is an introvert ? What type of introvert is he ? INTP ? INFJ ? Either way, pretty sure I will get along with him just fine since I am an INTJ myself.

I think he's super cute. I want to give him a pea and ham soup and a campfire and a blanky and a bedtime story and just put him to sleep!

 

Also, you're of the opinion that every single character in an RPG has to cater to your own idea of what attractive is...

He is very Handsome...Solas is pretty much the character that drew me in to want to play this game lol

Solas has a rat face, its kinda cute! Also His quote makes him sound interesting. Its going to be hard to choose between him and dorian, might just switch them out here and there. If solas is a straight or bi LI then well sorry dorian (as in I wont use him nearly as much,because I like to take my LI with me everywhere if I can). Looking forward to that first meeting and his opinion on things.

I didn't find Fenris attractive at all. I liked Matt Rhodes' re-imagining of him better.

Same, before the game came out I was like ugh he's a dumb looking emo anime clone but playing the game he grew on me and I love his voice

Yes, exactly. I saw the concept art for him, back when he was "MEG", and I was like oh yes how u doin? And then I saw him in game and it hurt my soul.

The Solas change was a shock at first but every time I look at him I think he's more attractive.  I'm already back to the dayum, let me get a piece of that feeling that I had for him before.  Plus, his personality makes him even MORE attractive, while Fenris constantly calling my mage a monster was a bit of a turn off.

 

As an awkward introvert who's spent a ton of time alone, will Solas be very private or will he let it all hang out because he's rusty when it comes to social interaction?  I ask because I know introverts who are very tight-lipped about personal issues and keep to themselves, but then I get so used to doing whatever I want when I'm alone that I literally have to look down at my legs when I leave the house to make sure I remembered to put on pants, not to mention I sometimes say things that are better left unsaid (like the thing about the pants probably).  Which way do you think he'll lean?

I definitely find Solas more attractive than Fenris. The thing about me is, I love imperfections and I think they make faces a thousand times more interesting and more beautiful, especially if they have an amazing personality to go along with it. When I look at Cullen or Dorian for example, yeah I think they are exquisite works of art, that's why they invoke the same feeling in me as when looking at a pretty painting. I almost feel like I'm meant to swoon over them because of how gorgeous they are but instead I just find their faces too perfect.... So If Solas is not a LI then I hope Cullen and Dorian at least have one hell of a personality....but that's just me. I'm actually an awkward introvert myself so there is also that kindred spirit thing I feel I have in common with him.

I was also warming up to the idea of romancing Cassandra on a second play through with a male elf but if Solas is not a LI than my fem quizzy will remain forever alone.

Anyway, seeing as how elves haven't been wearing shoes since DA2, do they have little dog cushions on the bottom of their feet now? I couldn't really tell with Merril. I would think they would get a lot of injuries traversing the wilderness barefoot.

Like Morrigan? I can see him being that way. When he gets to know Cole and Cassandra, two he seems to get along with, I can see the kind of scenario where Solas is the lonely kid at the lunchtable and the companions and Inquisitor even are willing to let him in their circle. 

 

Edit: He would not be the first character to start out bad at talking to people and developing better social skills as the story progresses.

ahhh I don't hate Fenris, I still love him and preferred him over Anders.... but I think I was more attracted to his voice than his looks. Like the poster above me said, he has one of the best voices.

 

My Hawke did get tired of a lot of his drama though.
