Next, you will purchase a wii u with me3 solely for the exclusive weapon.

Oops, I did want to give you ideas.

Well, you´re truly invested. I too purchased all the dlcs, aside from Me2 genesis. But I had any any choice, I don´t know if I would have bought pinnacle station. I inly have it because my me1 is the trilogy version.

The M-597 Ladon induces indoctrination. Surely, it is best if it stays away from the other platforms.

Omega is hit or miss depending on what your interests are. If you really liked the location of Omega in ME2 the DLC does provide a nostalgia blast, plus the level design is quite spectacular if you like to look around. The main draw of the DLC is it's combat though. In addition to the introduction of two new enemy types, it does shake up the combat sections quite. And finally it provides the best antagonist in the entire game.

So, if your main draw to the game are characters (besides Aria) and the story/universe this DLC isn't worth the money. But if you really do enjoy the ME3 combat and like to take in the sights, then... maybe. All I can say for sure is that Omega is one of my favorites parts of this game and something I look forward to every playthrough.

Well, if this was the week before last, you could have gotten the Digital Deluxe upgrade that was on sale. As it is, get Leviathan and Digital Deluxe upgrade w/ From Ashes. The rest are fun but unnecessary.

You should most definitely get Citadel. It is the greatest DLC of all time. Leviathan is very good too. Omega is all right. It depends on how much you like Omega and/or Aria.

Do you already have From Ashes? That's good as well.

My favourite is Citadel, although I like them all for various reasons.

So live a little and get them all. It's only money right?  :P

Omega is 100% action, Leviathan is lore-oriented, tons of exposition and 80% yapping (far too much for my liking), and Citadel is completely out of place - throwing a party while the galaxy is burning.

If you prefer action over lore, you'll love Omega. If you prefer lore over action, you'll love Leviathan. And if you loved watching "Friends", you'll love Citadel.

Having said that, each DLC is a piece of the storyline. So playing ME3 without DLC is like playing an incomplete game or watching a movie while skipping ahead entire chapters. They're all worth it in their own way.

If people on the Citadel are doing it, why can't we? O.o

From Ashes adds one of the best squadmates in the entire trilogy as well as added lore/insight on the Protheans

Leviathan adds lore and insight on the Reapers and their cycles.

While I enjoy the action and environments in Omega, and the amount of content and fan service in Citadel, I don't consider them essential like I do with From Ashes and Leviathan.

Be sure to pick up EC free of charge.

Omega is by far the best Mass Effect 3 DLC. It's the only one I look forward to playing every time I start a new play through. It has by far and away the best combat in the game, and funnily enough it also had the most competent story due to its simplicity.

Change 'Omega' to 'Citadel' and I will agree with everything you said.  :P

Citadel doesn't have the best combat in the game though, and it's story sure as hell isn't competent.

Personally I think Citadel has the best combat sequences, namely the first portion where Shepard must fight solo on low health and nothing but a pistol. Omega is good, but it's just lots of the same Cerberus troopers we fight everywhere else, and what are essentially biotic brutes. Whatever one may think of Citadel's Identity theft story, it's nice to be able to fight people that aren't mindless slaves, and have a human-level boss that isn't a pushover like Kai Leng.

I just got ninja'd  .

As for the story it's not complicated, and it's got style. I dunno, I love 80s action flicks so I'm happy with it.

except the Citadel DLC story is anything but competent. yeah let's throw a party while the galaxy is burning and chase after an idiot clone with abandonment issues that Cerberus forgot about and left lying around.

"why you and not me boooohooooo"

LAME.

whereas the Omega DLC is perfectly fitting with ME3's atmosphere and it's almost like a continuation of the Citadel coup mission. you've booted Cerberus off the Citadel, then put the boot in them real good on Omega.

lol as opposed to washed up Alliance rejects and a clone with an inferiority complex & a Mummy Returns rip-off*. he's as bad as Leng as far as I'm concerned.

*Imhotep hanging on the ledge of the pit of the damned, waits for his woman to pull him up, she chickens out and takes off, he's heartbroken and lets go* - sound familiar?

Well, golly gee Grumpy McScowlatstuff, I was simply talking about the combat itself, and I'm not really concerned with what people think of the story or characters themselves, though CAT6 mercs are no worse than the plethora of mercenaries we fight in ME2. I mean, is there any meaningful difference between Alliance washouts and the assortment of criminal scum we gun down? I thought the CAT6 mercs and the clone were better combatants than the Cerberus troopers and Kai Leng.

As for the Mummy comparison, heh, it's been a while since I've watched that movie. I suspect that the similarity between the two scenes is coincidental, but considering how the DLC has some references from other popular works of fiction in the Blade Runner referencing salarian and the Cantina scene with Ashley among likely many others, I wouldn't be surprised if they did that on purpose.

Omega is the one I look forward to least, but I do like it. I think Omega is an underrated DLC (and partly suffered from the demand and speculation leading up to it, on whether the Collectors or Harbinger would appear)

It had the best environments and combat (before the Citadel released). It added an enemy that plays entirely different than any other in the game. We get a few new weapons. And the narrative is a character story that explores the extremes of Paragon/Renegade, which allows you to impact the resolution based on the culmination of your choices throughout.

1. From Ashes - A MUST. Nuff said. Don't play ME3 without it. Javik is an essential ME's character,to the point where BW even considers him canon.

2. Leviathan - Adds additional backstory to the Reapers and one of the most well-written dialogues in the trilogy (no spoilers). Plus,on top of that, you get an excellent story, very good characters, and a few tense combat situations. Definitely worth the money. Plus,if you're a perfectionist it gives you a biggest War Asset in the game (again,no spoilers).

3. Omega - After hearing all the complaints about Omega, when I first played through it I was very pleasantly surprised.

Don't listen to what people say,Omega is one of the highest quality DLC's in the trilogy. Its very well written, has plenty of fun combat, good soundtrack, and a (at least in my opinion) very interesting story. Essentially its retaking the entire Omega back from the Cerberus. You'll visit previous locations from Mass Effect 2,and Aria will even make references to Mordin,to which Shepard will respond depending on Mordin's status in you're save file. Honestly I don't understand why people bash Omega so much.

Sure, its 2 and half hours long, but in Omega's case its quality over quantity. Pick it up,you won't be disappointed.

4. Citadel - Citadel is a DLC for hardcore ME fans. I'd recommend it only if you have a strong attachment to the characters, your LI,and the universe overall. Its full of funny references, awesome ME-type moments, etc. But as I said, only if you have a perfect playthrough - that is,all squadmates alive, etc.

Otherwise you might come out of the DLC thinking "WTF did I just play through?".

Wasn't Omega (like from Ashes) originally supposed to be part of the game?

Don't like Omega especially for what I paid. Had it been available for only $1.99, I might like it.

Leviathan and From Ashes are good

Citadel I enjoyed

I found all 3 to be excellent and worth it.

And don't let people talk trash about Flare... I mean Omega. Seriously, it gets you Flare. Flare! As in the most visually impressive and badass power in the entire series. With how much I love that power, I would have spent the 15 bucks for that power alone.

Oh, and I guess Lash is there too along with Flare, if you want it...

if you have Omega installed, you can give yourself Flare from the start of the playthrough in Vancouver

( Name="F", Command="givepower self sfxgamecontentdlc_exp_pack002.SFXPowerCustomAction_BioticFlare" )

change F to whatever key you want kekeke. EXTREMELY effective against those pesky husks/cannibals.

And why the hell would I want to do that? I already have it, seeing as I already bought Omega a long time ago and can select it as a bonus power now. And further, I actually do like Omega anyway.

If you want to pay around $60-70 for crap that in total has less content than the games, and literally costs more than all three games together, then yeah I guess

not from the get go, you don't have it.
