Which DLC worth the money.

DLC started off being a genuine fan service at a reasonable price. Then it became a money grab, strip down as much as you can from the game and sell it asap. Competitive shooters set the bar when it came to DLC. No map packs? Harder to get a game. No weapon packs? Prepare to be slaughtered. Now we have people demanding that weapons and maps be sold instead of giving them away for free. Because "if you want to play competitively you should have to pay" it's insane.
Eh, map packs are so so, not everyone cares, and weapon packs tend to be either "these are not really necessary but add options" or CAN be "these are strictly superior"
Mass Effect went the route of cosmetics with the appearance packs, and weapon packs that added options without being strictly superior upgrades.

Actually although I do like omega and aria, it is buggy as hell.
It's like they just bunged it out the door half done.
Could you describe the bugs you've encountered?
I played it three times without any problem, unless the bugs you mentioned have reference to game balance, damage etc.

Not sure if still relevant, but my rating would be:
1. Citadel
2. Omega
3. Leviathan
4. From Ashes

I spent $15 for that. What a waste.
I believe they charged $15 to help cover the cost for the extended cut as with Citadel dlc though I didn't mind spending the money for that dlc

I don't actually mind Omega now.
The price was a point of principle early on but I've played it enough times now that I've certainly had my value out of it.
Lack of squad and pew-pew-fest, initially were also problems for me, but it doesn't bother me so much any more.
Of course this all being said, stuff like the bug in the .gif above, just smacks of more outstanding BW quality control. ![]()

From Ashes is to me inextricable from the main game, I don't really consider it DLC, rather a bit of the game ripped out.
Leviathan and Citadel are lots of fun, I give the edge to Citadel for its fanservie
Omega is a step above Pinnacle Station

I've had characters getting stuck in floors & ladders, falling through levels, Shep freezing, the buggy cutscenes as mentioned, I've even had to do a section on my own as Aria and Nyreen thought it more fun to stare at a door.

Just to clarify: I'm neither a fanboy nor do I want to defend BioWare or EA.
I'm just curious, why all the bugs you mentioned did not happen in my games. Neiter of them.
In my experience "true" bugs happen on any system and thus, for all players. Example: The ladder-glitch during the Leviathan-DLC.
Exception to this might be bugs in the graphical area, which affect only users of a certain videocard and don't affect those who have the other brand.
Of course I assume, that the pc-systems meet the manufacturer's prerequisites.

The ladder-glitch during the Leviathan-DLC.
I guess I'm extremely lucky. Never got that.
Also, haven't played Omega yet, but have it installed ![]()

I've never had the Leviathan ladder bug.
And regards PC specs, it would be extremely hard not to meet the pre-requisites they are so low.

The Citadel and Leviathan are must-haves, IMO.
So is the Extended Cut, though that's free so it doesn't really count.
Omega is entirely skippable. If you're not going to get every DLC that is the one to pass on. It really doesn't add much to the story and it is much more action-oriented than the other other two.

Yes, the glitches are there, but I don't regret buying Omega, Leviathan and Citadel (I don't have from Ashes). I enjoyed Omega even more than Leviathan, mostly because my choices did matter. In Leviathan, I can choose whatever and the end will be the very same. Well, I can kill Ann Bryson to save a few minutes of scanning time (planets I would scan anyway...).
Compared with the other dlc prices Omega is overpriced though.

Minor Necro and hijack case, but I have a similar 'problem' as the OP.
I have 480 Bioware points left, and considering that they are not longer used for future games, I can either throw those at the RNG gods and hope they don't vanish into thin air or buy some DLCs.
I already own all Story dlc except for Arrival (which costs 560 points), so these are 'out of the way'.
I'm pretty much settled on buying the Firepower and AEGIS packs for ME2
That leaves 160 points -enough to buy either the Firefight pack or the Alternate Appearance pack for ME3.
-Firefight pack has the Krysae which I always wanted to try in SP, but the other weapons really don't interest me that much or a totally OP.
(Small disatvantage here is that I'd need to edit all the citadel shops again
)
-The alternate appearance pack only includes 3 outfits from which 2 look nice imo (and a Cerberus Armor I won't use)
So, I'm pretty torn between getting the Firefight XOR AA-packs and hope for suggestions or opinions from here.
Or maybe someone has a better Idea alltogether.

Just out of curiosity, why no From Ashes?
From what I have seen, the actual mission for From Ashes is kind of short and rather unspectacular. As for Javik, he is simply not my cup of tea personality-wise. Purchasing a squadmate I wouldn't use or like just seemed like a kinda pointless waste of money to me ![]()

Late to the party but...
The only one I think is really worth the price is Citadel.
Get From Ashes if you want a an entertaining but unecessary Prothean troll on your team
Get Omega if you want to team up with Aria to kick some Cerberus tail
Get Leviathan if you want a laughable attempt to justify/forshadow the endings
But get Citadel if you want to smile one more time.

Did you by chance puchase the Arrival dlc? I only ask because that dlc is short and not very exciting. The only thing I liked about it was facing Harbinger in his true form.
