Well like just about everything it's subjective. I'll have a better answer once I play the game. Cliched as it sounds it's the personalities that count. Pretty faces are a dime a dozen, following the Inquisitor to the end that's fracking hot.

Now that I think about it, I think Sera being a lesbian possibly lost her a few points with some dudes.
Keyword: "Possibly"
Otherwise blech towards Viv being hotter.
There's nothing wrong with people thinking viv is hotter. Or having any different attractions to you, in fact.
Personally, I don't find black people attractive (and no, that isn't racism any more than saying you don't think men are attractive is sexism), and that's why. That's not my fault, nor is it wrong. It just 'is'.

I hate to go into this topic as this always happens with the black character in Bioware games (happened with Jacob in ME2). Anyways, to say that a particular race of people is not attractive is a form of racism.
I think people forget what the actual term of racism is, which is generally the belief that a race is superior/inferior to another race or races. If I own a business and say that I do not hire Mexicans because I do not find them intelligent, that is racist because I am labeling them as intellectually inferior. So when you say that you do not find black people attractive, that is in a sense a mark of racism because you are implying that black people are inferior when it comes to physical/sexual attractiveness.
Just my 2cents.

Now back on topic. You asked me how can I say the female Elf/Qunari Inquisitor is attractive when we have not seen them. Well, we have seen a female Qunari Inquisitor and while I did not find the E3 2014 "Femnair" attractive, I have the belief that I will make sure that my female Inquisitors (Elf/Qunari) are visually appealing. ![]()

We only know what Dagna looked like as a child and you think she's the most attractive?
O_o
Wasn't she 19 or so in DA:O? There wasn't any child models for dwarves, and she looked about as mature as any other dwarven woman, certainly mature enough to pack up her bags and move to the circle on her own.
Anyways I'm mostly judging by the fanart people have drawn of older versions of her. That and I absolutely adore her character. It's become a little thing of mine to sneak her into my list whenever I'm asked to rank characters on the BSN.

For the women, I think they are all pretty beautiful in their own ways.
But I rate based on how obviously attractive they are tend to rate Vivienne at the top, but that's only because it looks like she actually looks like she is putting in some effort into looking good since she serves on Celene's court and all. I'm sure the other two women could look just as beautiful if they put in more effort in their appearances but they don't strike me as people too concerned about their appearances too much.
Sera is next because she tends to wear clothes/armor that shows you her curves some.
Cassandra is last because she usually wears heavier armor or baggier clothing that tends to hide her figure somewhat but you can easily see hints that she has a good figure as well.

It's a very close race, they're only within a few points of each other. When looking at the raw data the guys tend to form very recognizable patterns, but the girls are all over the place.
Care to provide an update or pls let us the patterns

Cole looks too emo. Iron Bull is too lumpy in the face. Bald elves just look like they came out of POW camps. I dislike Dorian's curly mustache.
And I loathe Sera's bangs. I just hate them.

Except that attractiveness is an exclusively subjective measure. That's different-in-kind.

I don't think any of them are attractive save for Dorian (it is truly a dark day for Straight men in the Dragon Age), so I'm going to rate them all from most comfy to least comfy.
Solas (dem pajamas)
Iron Bull (no shirt comfiness and rare Qunari horns that allow him to sleep on his back)
Varric (constantly airing out his chest-hair can do wonders for stress)
Blackwall (warm fuzzy beard)
Cole (neutral-cozy, points deducted for looking like he died of hypothermia)
Sera (this is where we start crossing into non-comfy territory, as Sera obviously needs to get a new bra)
Dorian (it can't be comfortable to have to draw your moustache on every morning, points added for comfy-looking robe but it looks a bit too heavy)
Cassandra (no comment)
Vivienne (it is a brave thing, to sacrifice your comfiness to the flames of your vanity, a sacrifice I wouldn't be able to make)

This is my list, weighing their general attractiveness as a mix of looks and my current, uninformed impression of their personalities. Will probably change once I've actually played the game, or so I expect.
- Dorian
- Cassandra
- Leliana
- Cullen
- Blackwall
- Sera
- Scribbles
- Vivienne
- Iron Bull
- Cole
- Solas
- Varric
I love that all the companions and advisors have such distinctive, varied look. They're all beautiful, even those that ended up in the lower half of my subjective list.

*Cassandra voice* Bullshit!
Everyone has a preference towards some ![]()
I personally find Dorian > Varric > Blackwall
followed by the women: Cassandra > Sera > Vivienne
then the ones I don't care much for: Solas > Iron Bull > Cole ![]()
All of this is tentative as these are just first impressions
