They are probably basing it on her concept art. She looked attractive in that.

 

Of course she might not look the same in the actual game.

I never found Cullen all that attractive, personally, and the only reason he isn't last is because Cole's child mentality detracts from his physical appearance, IMO.

Females > Males (because quite frankly: Most of the female characters in the game are hot and most of the males are not - particularly amongst the companions (hell, cassy looks hot, even with them uglyfying her...she was prettier in DA2))

 

As for how interesting they are to me?

 

Well, so far I like:

 

Cassy (unless she tries to goo full andrastian/chantry-drone on me...in a way like Leliana (who I would like to convince that the chantry is not all that good))

Dorian

Sera

Varric

 

Don't care much for the rest though...I mean the Iron Bull sounds cool, but I already have a Tank (don't need an Off-Tank and Warrior DPS is lower then that of a DPS-Mage or a Rogue)

 

Vivienne with her pro-chantry (and circles) attitude turns me off quite frankly (and her clothes...*shakes his head and sighs*)

 

Solas is interesting, but three mages is probably pushing it (and I need a tank and a door-opener (rogue) anyway, so no empty spot there either)

 

Blackwall - well, after having so much to do with the grey wardens, I would have liked not having one along (after all I don't like the organisation all that much...after all they forced my canon warden to join them, they keep secrets (corypheus (spelling?)), tried to overthrow the government (warden's keep - I can understand why, but it was wrong, even if done for the right reasons), play politics (even when they should not), kept from my warden (and from Alistair (!) - probably in order to put him on the throne if something did happen to Cailan!) that in order to kill the archdemon one of the wardens has to die...poison people on purpose even if there is no blight (the joining - it should only be used when there is a blight and then only in convicts and traitors....I mean fighting the archdemon can be done by anyone...only the final blow must be delivered by a tainted person!) etc.

 

Cole - Well, I like spirits/demons, but I don't much care for him...he/it is a murderer in my eyes and I don't like that very much...I would have loved to have Valor from the mage origin or a desire-demon(ess) instead of him (would be more fun, too)

Need a better look at Cullen and Scribbles.

1) Dorian - I love his swarthy skin tone and his hazel eyes, though I'm not too crazy about his hairstyle. Still a fairly good looking guy. His robe is amazing and the balance of his dark physical features plays off nicely with the light colors he has on. Simple, but clever design and look.

 

2) Scribbles - We may not have a clear pic of her, but I really do love how she looks in her zoomed up pics. Again, the hairstyle isn't my favorite, but she looks quite attractive. Her clothes seem a tad frumpy (at least ingame), but she still looks good in them. Also sports some of my favorite colors so that's a plus in my book.

 

3) Blackwall - His rugged look and his protective personality really makes him attractive to me. I don't typically like beards on a guy, but he pulls it off well. He also has a very intense look in the images we've seen of him that enhances his ruggedness and masculinity. If he weren't on the verge of dying, I'd definitely prefer him over Dorian.

 

4) Cullen - I saw his zoomed up pic and he honestly looks quite handsome. I even love his slicked back hair compared to the curly travesty he had in the previous games. His clothes also look fairly regal and I'm loving how well he pulls off red.

 

5) Varric - Some may not like the fact that he looks less like a dwarf, but that's precisely why I actually find him attractive now. If he weren't dull to me, I'd have definitely rated him higher.

 

6) Cassandra - The jaw really got to me at first, but now, I'm pretty okay with her. Not too feminine looking, but definitely not as masculine as people like to claim.

 

7) Leliana - Not bad and I'm a fan of redheads, but Leliana just doesn't do much for me. She's certainly attractive, but she comes off a bit plain to me.

 

8) Solas - Has wonderfully beautiful eyes, but that's all he really has for him, IMO. If they were adamant about making him bald, they could've given him stubble/facial hair looking vasallins to bring some balance to his face.

 

9) Vivienne - Her pronounced cheekbones, shaved hair, and large protruding lips just comes off as way too stereotypical to me. It's like the writers just gave the artists the direction to make her as "black" as possible, and that's just a turnoff to me. I think a bit of bit of balance definitely would've helped in this case to make her a bit more attractive, IMO.

 

10) Iron Bull - Ugh... His face... There's just something wrong with it. He looks fine in profile, but the frontal view looks like a mess. Not to mention the lack of hair, once again, draws attention to the top of his head, though I guess his horns kinda balances it out a bit. Still, he really has very little going for him (at least Solas has beautiful eyes and those tight pants) and will definitely not be swooned by me if he's available as a romance.

 

11) Sera - Barely inches out above Cole for me. Like with Iron Bull, there's just something wrong with her face. It's like she took a shovel to the face that has permanently flattened her face or something. Her heavy mascara was a misstep, her jacked up hair looks way too punkish, and her constant look of confused anger just completes the look of a d-bag.

 

12) Cole - It's been said before but he looks like an undead emo and I like my potential LIs to look human, so yeah, he's out.

Including the Advisors, my order would be Sera-Leliana-Scribe Girl-Cassandra-Vivienne.  Of course Scribe Girl hasn't been seen properly yet, so she could move up or down in the rankings once we get a really good look at her.
