- Varric
- Blackwall
- Cassandra
- Sera
- Dorian
- Vivienne
- Cole
- Solas
- Iron Bull
The last three really do not appeal to me at all. If any of them are romances I'll probably go that route once but only for character exploration purposes.

1- Cassandra
2- Sera
3- Blackwall
4- Irpn Bull
5- Varric
6- Cole
7- Soras
Dorian and Vivienne can jump from a cliff for all I care.
Well in terms of overall style/design of companions for which I find most appealing it would be:
1. Solas
2. Cassandra
3. Vivienne
4. Dorian
5. Cole
6. Varric
7. Ironbull
8. Sera
9. Blackwall
For actual companions:
Ladies first as they say:
Sera (I like me a fun girl)
Cas (Ouch.. And I love it)
(Leli would be on the list if she was an actual companion and if she wasn't already the main squeeze of both my main wardens)
All the rest. Vivi is going to be like Morrigan but in a more annoying "I am superior" way plus I just don't find her attractive at all.
Gentlemen:
Varric (Familiarity helps a lot here and he is always a bro)
Iron Bull (The anti-Sten. Where Sten says, "No!", Bull will say, "YES!!!")
Solas: Seems like he could be a fun guy or at least interesting
All the rest: Cole (Haven't read the books and he is coming off as a Justice 2.0 which is making me moan/groan) and Dorian (your concept art looked so much better and your stache just makes me want to rip it off and say NO!)
Forgot Blackwall: He is okay but I am kind of done with Wardens and feel like they have been played out.
9) Vivienne - Her pronounced cheekbones, shaved hair, and large protruding lips just comes off as way too stereotypical to me. It's like the writers just gave the artists the direction to make her as "black" as possible, and that's just a turnoff to me. I think a bit of bit of balance definitely would've helped in this case to make her a bit more attractive, IMO.
While that is your opinion, I have to respectfully disagree.
What I like much about Vivienne and Bioware's approach to her is that she is NOT the stock image of what "mainstream society" believes to be attractive, especially when it comes to black women. Looking at the model industry as an example, for black women, many of the highly successful ones tend to have facial features that are more inline with that of "white" beauty such as thin lips, narrow face, fare (light) skin, and narrow nose. Every now and then you will see a black model who has more "African" features but most of the them fall in line with mainstream American/European "White beauty".
With Bioware essentially saying that core female African features are sexy and attractive, all while applying it to what seems to be a very confident and dominant female, I do not see how Bioware is doing anything wrong. I applaud them for making Vivi the way they made her because when I was looking at her concept art photos, I figured that they would go the route of saying, "What would white males find attractive in black women?" and as a result, would essentially take a caucasian looking female and just "paint" her with brown skin. But instead, Bioware took the bold route and again, I applaud them for that.

Thank you for writing that, good sir. It's about time video games embrace beauty in all forms, shapes, and colors. Initially, I was a little bit irked about her eye color (the same goes with Steve Cortez') but then I realised some black people do have light colored eyes.
A little out of topic, but I'm really disturbed by how Tecmo Koei portrays Lisa in the Dead or Alive franchise

I love when people try to insult me and call me shallow and I'm just like...

So, duh...
1. Cullen
2. Dorian
3. Blackwall
4. Cass
5. Varric
6. Iron Bull
7. Viv
8. The rest.
Too bad about Dorian. All the good ones are gay. *heavy sigh*

Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. I too love Vivienne's look and put her on top of the list atm, beauty can sure come in different ways to me. I just have a fear that her ambition might be something I can't go along with...
I am very surprised how low everyone rank Iron Bull. Guess there aren't much females in here.
I'm straight so it's going to the ladies only.
1. Cassandra
2. Sera
3. Vivienne
1. Cullen (waaay up on top)
2. Iron Bull (his character and story possibilities make him more "attractive" to me)
3. Dorian (I'm not digging the moustache, but he gets bonus points for being from the Tevinter Imperium)
....Then waaay further down the line....
4. Cole
5. Blackwall
6. Solas
7. Varric (not a fan of his character or looks I'm afraid.)
For the ladies, even if they aren't for me...
1. Sera (she looks badass)
2. Cassandra
3. Scribbles
4. Vivienne
since when have thin lips been a modern beauty ideal? Large eyes and full lips have always been attractive in a woman, provided that they are placed well on her face in relation to her other features. Aside from tradionally feminine features we tend to find "averageness" attractive, basically a certain ratio in a face that is "inoffensive" to us. With that said, none of the female characters really have this aside from Sera who is gorgeous, but very unpolished. With a better haircut and makeup she would look stunning. The garish black eyeshadow and eyeliner, are really dragging her looks down, along with the hideous hair. I think its strange that i havent seen it mentioned much before but she reminds me of angelina jolie a little, the lips, nose and eyebrows are pretty similar to hers.
As for Vivienne, she is just too over top for me, and her facial features while beautiful on their own, just arent very well-proportioned in relation to one another. Its the same thing with leliana, lovely features ,but her face is so thin that it borders on bizarre and really distorts them.
For me the hottest is Cullen, Sera, dorian, leliana, vivienne, morrigan, cassandra, blackwall, varic, the bull

Cole isn't undead. The real Cole is dead, this Cole is just a spirit who took an interest in him and took on his form to avenge him. He ultimately ends up thinking that he is Cole, but now he knows he's not. Though I totally love Cole, I see no way that he could be romance-able.

Cole in the book:

Cole in the game:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! PERCHE'?!?!?!?!
1. Solas
2. Varric
3. Iron Bull
4. Blackwall
5. Dorian
6. Cullen
7. Cassandra
8. Scribble
9. Cole
10. Vivienne
11. Sera
I like all the girls, but my preference is for males, sooo....quite hard for me to give them a highter vote than a male. I'm a lucky girl in this game. there are a lot of eye candy. ![]()
From the neck up:
Ladies:
1) Vivienne (I love African features, though I hope and pray she's not wearing a damned weave or wig under that hat)
2) Cassandra (I really like her sharp features, although she does look better in the concept art than some of the in-game screenshots I've seen, and I actually like the little scars and cuts on her face. I also love her hair - a pixiecut with that cute halo-shaped braid at the back, adorable)
3) Leliana & Scribbles (both bland and inoffensively pretty, not much else to say here)
4) Sera (Bad haircut, sort of a pudgy, boyish face, and I don't particularly care for the way to much eyeliner look, especially on blondes)
Men:
1) Dorian (dat moustache, plus I just love swarthy men who keep their facial hair tidy).
2) Cullen (nice old-fashioned chiselled good looks)
3) Varric (rugged good looks, though the nose is a bit too large for my tastes)
4) Solas and Blackwall (never been overly fond of bald heads and cleft chins or overly long beards)
5) Iron Bull (love the horns, but his face looks like it was fed through a food processor)
6) Cole (deathly pallor, bulgy eyes, terrible hair, yeah)
From the neck down (harder to tell as almost everyone is wearing armour or otherwise dressed sensibly):
Ladies:
1) Cassandra (she's a warrior, so I bet she has muscles under that armour, and I dig fitness chicks)
2) Sera & Leliana (slim and athletic, hard to go wrong here)
3) Vivienne & Scribbles (so hard to tell. I don't know what scribbles does, so it's hard to guess at her body type, and Vivienne's robe is very concealing, but she seems to me to be awfully skinny judging by her waist)
Men:
1) Iron Bull (those muscles!)
2) Culllen and Blackwall (both warriors, so once and again - muscles!)
3) Dorian, Solas and Cole (average build with a proclivity toward pajama wearing, meh)
4) Varric (sorry, call me old fashioned but I like a guy who is taller than me, chest hair comments not withstanding)
Perfectly written, my friend. I have a soft spot for Viv because of her (general) African features in particular, which are so similar to my own, and I can't help but cringe when people declare her to be ugly because of those "harsh" features. While that is your opinion, I have to respectfully disagree.

Hmm... if I had to choose...
1. Vivienne
2. Sera
3. Cassandra

Wow, your avatar...

well considering we are rating them from hottest to least hot i don't feel so bad about it cuz they're all hot in my opinion, but i do find some to be more extra hot then the others haha. (i prefer women but can find both attractive - altho it shows in the order i put them in)
Dorian
Vivienne
Cassandra
Sera
Varric
Iron Bull
Solas
Blackwall
Cole?
Well, my Inquisitor is the hottest of them all (cause I love me some sex god Quizzy!
)
So it goes like this for me:
Quizzy > Cullen > Dorian > Iron Bull > Varric > Solas > Blackwall > Morrigan > Cass > Leli > Sera > Vivienne > Scribbles > Cole
Cole is practically a corpse to me. ![]()
All the women > All the men, basically.
