Voted Sky/Cortez/Fenris

 

Really didn't care for the non-DA/non-ME romances at all to be honest. Seconded only by DA2 Anders Carth is probably the worst companion I've experienced in any BioWare series, didn't really care for any of the BG characters (not even the fan favorites), and only ever romanced Sky in Jade Empire. For a romance Sky was decent. Never played TOR extensively to initiate any romances so I can't provide an opinion or vote to something I haven't gotten into.

 

Mass Effect I voted Cortez NOT for the actual romance arc, but overall I found Cortez to be the most appealing physically. Even though he's a side/minor character, I find myself wishing he was in the previous two games just so I can learn more about him, his late husband and add more to his character. Plus, he's really the first official s/s LI for men that wasn't made playersexual/gender-neutral to throw the players a bone (unlike Kaidan, who I romanced as a female Shepard in my first run of ME1 and thus will always see him as attracted to women). I had wished Vega would be a romance but hey, can't have everything. I have no interest in romancing a Turian as a human, so Garrus is a never-go (male OR female) and I never found Thane all that interesting.

 

Dragon Age my favorite romance easily goes to Fenris. Even in spite of the anime connotations I like his character. He's loyal and seems to generally choose the side of law and good (even if he's broody about it), and other than Cortez seems to be the s/s male LI that isn't about being depraved or 'there for a time'. Plus he defeats the tropes of elves = bow wielding rangers or wise, intelligent mages, at least for Dragon Age. I also do think he's more attractive than Zev and Anders (one whose hair isn't working and the other who is repulsive in almost every way possible).

 

As for the ladies I liked Liara (stalker and all, her romance arc was probably the best written), Leliana (I admit she's my  most 'manced Origins character), Morrigan and Isabela (especially her rivalmance arc).
