Maker preserve me, not another one of these threads.

Actually only the Xbox presentation was running on Xbox one. The other presentation (behind closed doors - though a few segments are available to watch online) are on PC. The PC version looks better, and you can tell easily which version is which whenever fur pops up. the PC version features NVidia Fur tech.
Hah...haaha. Cute. You think anything at the Xbone conference actually ran on the Xbox... (pssst... they were all running on overclocked, high-end PCs...)
Is it? Have we seen any gameplay vids with her that show her with BLACK CURLY hair? Because if we don't all we have is CDPs word and no devs word is 100% true.
Remember that the game is still in production too.
To the thread in general, less back and forth attacking of each franchise.

Dude, one of the Witcher devs tweeted out that the Xbone presentation was running on an Xbone. Comparing it to the later PC version, it looks plausible, it certainly wasn't as sharp or featured as much detail as the PC version.
And yes, The Witcher looks pretty stellar and I wouldn't be surprised if their game had a tech edge over ours.
But for my own biases, graphics have been in the "good enough" stage for a quite a while now and despite my bias, I still think DAI looks pretty darned good too.

Have CDPR released the PC specs they were playing on? NVidia Furtech requires something pretty beefy, doesn't it?
W3 looks amazing no doubt, but CDPR is high-end PC focused predominantly, plus current gen consoles (though the XBox One presentation didn't look as good as the screens posted here). I think most PC gamers will be very unlikely to get graphics that look anywhere near as nice as those screens. Both previous Witchers have lagged like hell on my (for the time, fairly decent) machines. Inquisition is obviously going for those with lower specs still being able to run the damn thing.

I'm pretty sure one of the Witcher devs said it was running on X1 hardware that's why I said that earlier which was impressive. They themselves even said they're more comfortable with X1 hardware than the PS4.

Never got why people feel the need to do that when these threads pop up, both game settings are solid and are different. Can't really compare an apple and pear, other then their both fruit.

No. The rumor is right now a GTX 780 Ti can only run the game maxed out at 1080p at 35-45fps. Not exactly bad and considering it's still far out on development...a lot of optimizations will be made. Assuming it's even true.

CDPR outright lied to us?
TW3 does look better graphically, sadly I tried really really hard to care about Geralt as a protagonist as a character and it just wasn't happening. BioWare's stories always pull me right in from the get-go.

Anyone who says DA:I doesn't look good is crazy. It's probably not sporting some technical graphical goodies found in the Witcher, but it looks great. I'm looking forward to both games, but so far, at least, none of the previews of the Wticher 3 have gotten me as excited as the dragon battle in this E3's demo.
Witcher 3 could technically turn out to be the more graphically superior game as it is next-gen only.
HOWEVER, I am thoroughly impressed by both games so far. I think they both look fantastic and I can't wait to see them on the big screen.

Plus if you factor in it's an RPG makes DAI look more impressive. If this was any other year where you didn't have a game like Witcher 3 coming out behind it people would be praising how good DAI looks for the genre. You don't exactly get many RPGs that are considered cutting-edge in graphics within the industry. So, yes, it looks very good.

Hard to say, you have to keep in mind back in 2013 everything at the mircosoft showcase was pc even though that was never solidly confiirmed just when people got things, nothing looked like it was shown.

I believe that was said by a dev. they currently have the game, maxed out at 1080p, running at around 40 FPS on a single 780ti. They'll definitely tighten up performance by the time the game ships.
I'd be surprised if a 770 can't do high settings at 1080p 50+ FPS.
I think the graphic differences between the two games - which I both plan to enjoy - is more a matter of style than quality. Both have their place, and both games scratch different itches for me, so to say.
IMO Witcher 3 definitely looks better than DA:I. Have you seen the city Nova..Something in the E3 Gameplay. That was incredible. The characters also look amazing and more realistic than in DA:I.
But DA:I also looks very good, so no need to feel bad if you only like DA.

They will tighten things up, they did for witcher 2 and tightens things up more for pc when enhence version came out.
Witcher 3 Definitly has better graphics, but games are not only about graphics!
I think the bototm is this, both games look great just different art styles and use of colors
Just my view, but you know some people like apples, others like pears, and oddballs like me like both.

What's funny is that it happened with Sony last year as well and Barman Arkham Knight was showcased running on PC during the Sony conference (confirmed by dev) but it's the holy Sony so it doesn't matter.
Well the rumor has it everything at the 2013 was running on the pc. PC still has the edge and graphics increase sells, so hard to say what was really next gen and pc this year. Espically when next gen being only a single tier below pcs now on some graphic levels.

But for how long? I'm console player and been one since SNES. But the consoles will inevitably stagnate and PC will push forward again. Until the next console generation.
