Playing a mage , so I doubt I'm going to have two mages in my party very often.

Besides if there are only bonding over criticizing people, I may not like it.

I don't like when people do that IRL , so err...it could be fun, depends on their sense of humor.

But if it's plain vicious ,I'd rather not hear it.Because I will get annoyed.

I, for one, look forward to what ever catty and snarky banter they might have. If only I could throw Isabela and Zevran and Alistair into the mix.

Now if only Scribe girl was a companion as well. With the three of them, Thedas would explode though, so perhaps it is for the best that she remains an advisor.

So looking forward to having them in my party. I loved the relationship between Isabela and Aveline in DA2 and I picture Viv and Dorian being somewhat similar.

Only time I can see myself using both Vivienne and Dorian in the same party is during a fade sequence, and that's only if I'm playing a mage myself.  Four mages in the fade together sounds really interesting to me.

I can, and it's somewhat... disconcerting, given that my Dalish PC is unlikely to have that much tolerance for that sort of thing.

I now can especially imagine it with Solas or Sera in the party as they mock their clothing.

I'm gonna be running my canon mage Inquisitor and a rogue quizzy simultaneously, just so's the rogue quizzy can have Vivi, Dorian, and Iron Bull.

But would they actually like each other? Sure, they may both care about looking good, but I don't get the impression that Dorian likes the idea of a mage circle. He seems to think it's fine for mages to be free, as long as they aren't doing blood sacrifices and enslaving people and such.

I've heard that if you take them together with Solas they gang up on him to make fun of his clothes. Something about the two rich nobles making fun of someone who just cobbled together their outfit? Anyway, I don't remember if it was confirmed or not, but I believe I saw some people talking about it in the Dorian or Viv thread. If so I'm taking the three of them together just a few times so that I can laugh at and simultaneously feel bad for Solas.

When I go to the fade, I'll run a 4 mage team instead of 3 just to add Solus to the mix and hear the party banter.

 

I'll also be an elf so he shouldn't be "that" alone.
