While playing the Omega DLC one of the two Atlases that appear on the upper floor of the catwalk on the way to the Talon outpost suddenly dropped down to Shepard's level. I have never seen that before. Then, even more magically, it just up and disappeared. I also noticed that all the troops that came down with it started heading in the opposite direction from Shepard. Anybody ever seen this before?
Seems like a glitch to me. Hasn't happened in any of my playthroughs.
It's very possible that they can still drop down if there's enough time for it to drop down. Before the door closes, enemies can still phase through it and get down. I end up killing the Atlases before they get to drop down anyways.
I've had it happen. I think it depends on how long you take to finish the battle. Not sure though as it only happened in one playthrough.
Never seen that before.
I usually bring a Hydra missile launcher from the previous area to try and kill them up top. I think I've damaged them, but that's about it.
